Our tough and highly weather-resistant Black Hole® Pack protects your gear from scuffs, scrapes and miles of rough handling. The large main pocket holds the lion’s share, with an internal padded sleeve that protects most 15" laptops or holds a hydration reservoir, and a mesh pocket equipped with a key keeper and an organizer panel to hold your phone and small items. The bucket-style opening replaces a traditional lid and contains a small stash pocket that seals with a reverse-coil zipper. Daisy chain lash points secure a skateboard or yoga mat, and a stealthy zippered front pocket holds quick-access items. With padded shoulder straps for comfort and a molded back panel that sheds moisture and allows a cooling airflow. Made from 13-oz 450-denier polyester ripstop (50% solution-dyed) with a TPU-film laminate and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Black Hole® Pack 25L is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 54.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I like the padded laptop sleeve & few small interior pockets, but would have like another small/med. stash pocket like the one on top of the bag. Biggest issue here is the lack of waterproof zippers on the top of the bag - seems like an obvious omission, especially for the only stash pocket. Overall it's a well put together bag and I feel comfortable taking it out in the rain, as long as I have nothing in the top pocket. Looking to get a long life out of this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious without the bulk I've had this pack for about a month because I needed a pack for commuting. I was initially nervous that I should have purchased a larger size, but I am amazed at how much this bag can hold. I am easily able to fit multiple books, over-the-ear, headphones, my laptop, chargers, change of clothes, and my lunch without the bag appearing bulky. I noticed a couple of reviews are unhappy with the waterproof nature of the pack. I will say that in a heavy downpour, the things in main part of my pack stayed dry, but the top pocket got a little moist. It was a little disconcerting because that's usually where I keep my phone, but not enough to change my overall review of the bag because it didn't get soaked through or wet. It's a very comfortable pack for commuting, even at its most full, I find my back and shoulders don't hurt as much and it looks very sleek. Would highly recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It holds my stuff I bought this for a personal bag on airplanes. The material seems really tough and high quality. The bottom panel of the bag is the same material as the glossy material, its just turned inside out. I bought the all black one. The front and back wall have a light gray fabric so you can see your stuff inside. My favorite aspect of this bag is that it holds my 2011 15" Macbook pro. It fits under airplanes sets just fine. I was hoping to use this for hiking as well, but I realized that having a waste strap is key for me. For me to confidently recommend this bag, it needs water resistant zippers and a waste strap. Bottom line it's good for travel and hiking on mellow terrain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size! I love this pack so much. Bought it to get ready for the rainy months in Oregon, and so far everything in my pack has stayed dry. Great for bike commuting. I highly recommend!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good, pretty but not that comfortable. good size, good materials, cool design but is not that comfortable to carry middle or heavy stuff (computer, charger + gym clothes, wallet, etc.) Shoulder hurts if you walk (1.5-2 miles) if the backpack is almost full or if you are only with a thin t-shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for day hikes and the office The pack holds a hydration pack or a laptop very well. I'm not too keen on the outer vertical zip pocket. If the zipper manages to slide down, everything dumps out. Could use another zippered compartment in the inside. I use the pack daily so no real complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the Urban Jungle I did a lot of research for a new laptop backpack that would be light as possible while also being cool and fashionable and I found it in the Black Hole. I can load it up with groceries as well as a pair of shoes, my ever-present laptop and all the little stuff. It lays flatter than a regular backpack so when I'm on the subway I'm not smashing into others with it. And I love the formed back- makes it really comfortable when I'm lugging 20+ lbs. Went for a hike and it was great in the woods, too! It _is_ bigger than a regular backpack, so if there's one negative, I would've preferred something smaller than 25in. But, I'm really happy, get compliments all the time and it's super durable that I know I'll have it for a long time.
