Highly durable and highly weather-resistant, this bag protects your gear from rough handling. The main compartment is accessed by a zippered U-shaped lid, which has a pair of zippered mesh pockets on the underside for small items. A zippered exterior pocket holds the stuff you need to access quickly. The padded bottom panel adds structure and helps cushion the load when your duffel gets the baggage-handler treatment. Carrying options include padded removable shoulder straps, webbing handles with a snap closure and haul loops at either end that facilitate linking multiple bags. Four daisy chains let you lash additional gear to the outside. Made from 15-oz 900-denier polyester ripstop (50% solution-dyed) with a TPU-film laminate and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish the logo were smaller This bag is great--durable, big enough to hold all my gear, easy to store. I want so badly to love it, but I can't because of the oversized logo. Besides the fact that I would prefer the look of more subtle branding, the enormous logo feels like a giant neon sign pointing to my belongings screaming THERE'S EXPENSIVE STUFF IN HERE. As a solo female traveler with a ton of camera gear I'm usually trying to deflect attention from this fact, not encourage it. Unless the designers were to switch out the current logo with a smaller one (maybe one of the beautiful patches they use on the fleeces), I would not recommend this bag or buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag for working canine Needed a nice dry bag for rescue canine gear. Have a few harness's, leashes, dog bowls, dog food, rewards, and threw a pair of my boots in there. Plenty of room for everything with a little to spare. It was important that I'm able to keep the gear dry until I need it for use. Usually its very damp in the morning when we begin training the dogs and all gear inside stayed dry. Bag allowed for easy access to everything. Hate when I have to take all gear out just to find something or get to one thing. I was able to quickly open and see what was in there and just pull it out. So far the bag is holding up nicely. Been pulled and thrown in the back of a truck and very little signs of wear so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fits ALL The water resistant material and the ability to fit so much into this great/strongly constructed duffel is why I am so happy to have it. The straps really help with carrying. I’ll be using this every time I camp at National Parks, and any other traveling too. No more will I care if it rains on my duffel bag. Highly recommend this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Do-It-All Bag I'd highly recommend this bag for the enthusiastic trekker or the weekend warrior. You can easily fit a long-weekend's worth of gear for two people, or go solo for a week and find lots of space. (This obviously can vary based on how minimalist you go). For road (camping) trips we've found it's great to stash a sleeping bag (or two) plus clothes and keep things more compact and organized. The deep open pocket with minimal interference allows for creative packing, and the internal compression straps can make sure you have all your favorites neatly organized. If you're debating between sizes, know this runs true to size and can swallow up my entire camping wardrobe if so desired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best travel duffles on the market I now own three black hole bags, I am impressed with the build quality and looks. The hardest part is trying to decide to match all my pieces or get one in every color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great duffel for truck, train or air travel I’ve had this bag s few years now I use it to haul clothes and gear for work as well as general travel I’ve hauled it through airports and into the field and it’s equally at home in either place. It spends most of its time traveling in the bed of my pickup when I’m traveling and it will hold a couple weeks worth of clothes if you pack it correctly. It has been rained on in the bed of the truck while traveling and I’ve never had a problem with my clothes getting we. For all it’s use this bag has held up phenomenally. It still looks new after so many miles. It is a BIG BAG it’s heavy when it’s full but I’m a bigger guy so I don’t have trouble carrying it. I wouldn’t want to have to hike with it or anything like that. It’s just too big and unsupported for that purpose. However it is very comfortable to carry when it is packed full and you are headed to an airport, through a subway, or from the truck to a cabin or hotel. I expect this bag to last a lifetime I’ve been very happy with the quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Duffel !!! Great bag , holds lots of stuff and is very lightweight. Also packs into a small bag for taking someplace where you need to bring a lot of stuff home. The backpack straps come in handy, but its almost too heavy to go very far if youve filled it up. The only things Id change are to maybe add a couple more compartments, the inside is so big, you can loose things inside once its somewhat full. Also the carry straps are too long, I'm 5 foot 9 and the bag drags on the ground when I'm carrying it. I can use the backpack straps instead for shorter handles , but those are larger so harder to hold in one hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Black Hole holds it all The Black Hole 90L Duffel bag is a huge beast! I was able to stuff a sleeping bag, pad, bike helmet, bike shoes and pedals, and all my clothing for a 3 week trip to Croatia and Slovenia into this tough, durable bag. Yes,it was very heavy and you wouldn’t want to walk too far with it as a backpack, but I much prefer backpack bags vs wheeled suitcases when dealing with cobblestone streets and stairs. Be sure to not overpack it if you’ll be doing a lot of walking. A waist strap would be nice, but given the length of this pack, I’m not sure it would fit into the design well. -The shoulder straps are easily removable and it’s really not that hard to figure out how to take them off and on. -The compression straps don’t really serve a purpose. They can’t compress your items down because the straps are mounted 9 inches above the base of the bag. All they do is pull the two outside walls together. -The webbing handles with snap closure (which snaps the two carrying straps together) don’t provide much cushion or grip. I found it easier to carry by the backpack straps (when I wasn’t using it as a backpack). -The “durable water repellent finish” only applies to the upper material. The base material is not water repellent. That was proven as I observed our bags sitting on the tarmac at the Amsterdam airport during a torrential downpour. When we opened the bags at our hotel, the items on the bottom were damp. Otherwise, it was a perfect bag for the size of trip I was on and I hope take it on many more adventures.
