Airy, crushable-yet-resilient and a timeless favorite, the Duckbill Cap pairs an open tricot mesh and SUPPLEX® nylon (using updated Baggies™ fabric) for the reflective coverage of a running hat with the heat-dumping functionality of a visor. The short foam brim shades your eyes without blinding you to overhead branches and it bounces back to its shape after being folded in the pocket of your shorts. A COOLMAX® fabric headband wicks moisture and a slim rear buckle with elastic adjusts the fit.
  • The brim and front are made of updated Baggies™ fabric; open mesh on rest of cap dissipates heat
  • Foam brim can fold into a pocket and rebound to its original shape
  • Dark underbill reduces glare
  • COOLMAX® fabric headband wicks moisture
  • Adjustable rear buckle with elastic for snug fit
  • 62 g (2.2 oz)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Running Cap I have already worn this hat in many conditions and it aways peformed well. Cold and pouring rain it kept the rain out of my eyes, hot, sunny and humid it kept the sun out of my eyes and let my head breath. The hat also drys off very quickly, and packs extremely well if taking it on a trip. I had been eyeing one for a while but help off based on price, purchasing a couple cheaper hats. Now I wished I didn't torture myself and just bought the hat at the beginning, I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Your solid running cap I bought this hat as an upgrade to your regular trucker hat. It's definitely an upgrade for running. There's better venting, the back strap has some stretch, it washes up easily, and it's scrunches into the pockets of the Pro Strider shorts when you don't need it. It's also a fairly effective sweatband. I was concerned it would be too small or tight, but it fit fine. The only negative is the lack of reflective material on the back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I have tried nearly every running hat known to mankind. The Duckbill cap is my favorite, by a mile. I wear it in the summer sun and winter rains. It works great worn beneath the hood of a waterproof shell, allowing heat to escape while shielding eyes from the rain. Cram it in your pack, no damage done. If it looks gross after a few hundred miles throw it in the wash (or hand-wash), it'll look like new. Dries quick, too. Excellent ventilation, just enough length on the bill, and lots of colors to suit your style. I have a fairly large melon, which the Duckbill accommodates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Hat I have had this hat for over a year now. I wear this almost everyday, whether I am running or just for casual wear. The hat works very well to keep my head cool in the heat and humidity. This hat has held up very well and I haven't had to re-tighten the straps in the back either. I have put this hat through the ringer. It's been stuffed in small pockets in my backpack, caught on underbrush and tree branches, and dropped in the mud. I don't have a single negative with this hat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old favorite I had a duckbill cap over twenty years ago and loved it then. The slight re-design is nice. The cap is used mostly for running, but can be worn around town as well. Keeps rain, snow and sun out of the eyes. It's great to have an old friend back in the family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't go running without it Great close fit. Perfect forward for shielding the sun and great backwards when you just need some sweat management. I love that the absorbent material in the band and bill carries the moisture to the tip of the bill instead of letting it dump down my face. The mesh is comfy and airy and fits great under a bike or climbing helmet with no little knob to press into your head like a regular ball cap. A great no nonsense hat for all high intensity occasions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The coolest cap for tropical heat! Travelling in Houston in mid summer is not what we would like, but this cap seems the best way to shade the head while letting the breeze get to you. The design is ok, but would have preferred the blue patch over the forehead to meet up with the side patch. Still, the emphasis on air circulation wins out, and that's OK!
