Sun-warmed rock down low, icy runnels up high: sendin’ temps. Whatever your preferred medium, core warmth matters and our Nano-Air® Vest keeps pace throughout high-output, stop-and-go missions in variable conditions. Its stretchy and highly breathable fabric package integrates the qualities of fleece, soft shell and puffy. Our warm-when-wet FullRange® insulation is sandwiched between a plain-weave liner and a lightweight yet durable, weather-shedding nylon ripstop shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish—all of which means you can put it on and leave it on. The vest’s soft, supple feel and full mechanical stretch allow for a close, athletic fit over baselayers and an uninhibited range of motion. The left-chest pocket and two handwarmer pockets all close with trim, low-bulk zippers. The center-front zipper has a storm flap and zipper garage, while stretch binding at the armholes and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth.
  • Light yet durable 100% nylon ripstop shell and plain-weave liner offer generous mechanical stretch and exceptional breathability, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Revolutionary 60-g FullRange® insulation warms and stretches; combined with the shell and liner, this creates a vest with excellent mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40CFM)
  • Iconic Nano Puff® brick quilting in the side panels improves shape and durability
  • Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Two handwarmer pockets and a left-chest pocket are zippered, welted and low-bulk to work comfortably with a harness or pack
  • Stretch binding at the armholes and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth
  • Shell: 1.3-oz 20-denier 100% nylon ripstop. Lining: 2-oz 50-denier 100% nylon plain weave. Both shell and lining with mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 60-g FullRange® 100% polyester stretch insulation
  • 252 g (8.9 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Water Resistant

DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from light weight and warm but not durable Got this on clearance. Great value very comfortable, warm, and light weight. However, I have owned this a few weeks and already ripped a panel on it by brushing by a tree branch. The exterior fabric is not that durable. Dont use this product in areas where you can get snagged. Otherwise its perfect for casual dress / warmth. I bought the xxl and i am 6ft 5 the length is about right. I am a bit bulkier in the middle so it is a little tight. But otherwise the fit is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most versatile piece I own I've used this for several weeks and it's replaced many other items because it's light, breathable and like wearing a thin toaster. good for xc skiing, winter MTB rides and runs and when my furnace goes on unexpected vacations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going the distance I wore the vest twice with temps in the low 20's (F). A 15K race as an outer layer and on a 6 mile training run as a mid layer. Worked out well both times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to buy a second one! I bought this for my son for Christmas. He loved it and so did his brother! I ended up exchanging the Better Sweater Vest that I bought for my other son for this vest. It's cut slim which is good for both my sons. Also, it has nice clean lines and isn't puffy which makes it easy to layer under another coat if need be. The another plus... it got 2 thimbs up from each of their girlfriends so we all highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like magic. Seriously. Yes, your chin stubble will probably accelerate some piling in the neck, but other than that, this thing is amazing. I'm not kidding. Warm? Yes. Lightweight? Absolutely. But what makes it magic though is how it sheds body moisture. I seriously cannot believe how dry this thing stays. I heat up fast and sweat a ton (sorry for the visual) and every piece of gear I have soaks - even the stuff that's supposed to "wick" the sweat away and be very "breathable." Not this vest. I've worn it several times this season backcountry skiing - lots of sweat, especially between my back and pack. Every layer is drenched except this vest. I don't know how they do it, but it just stays dry. It truly is a piece of clothing that you put on and leave on - that's not a slogan, its the truth. Until I figure out how it stays dry, I'm calling it magic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Vest but Horrible on durability This vest scores 5/5 on warmth and lightness, but 1/5 on durability of material. I wear this on my daily commute to the office mainly and it keeps me warm on most days, as low as 40-45F. However, even with such light use, the inside portion of the collar tends to fray way too easily. This is my 2nd piece and the same thing has happened on both, within the first few days of wearing. I suspect it could be the stubble on my neck, but I'm not particularly hairy either. So my only conclusion is that the material used is either too light or of inferior quality. I haven't returned this yet as I love the style and find it very functional, but I'm also a bit annoyed that something this expensive doesn't last past a couple of weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fit and style Have worn this vest for a couple of weeks, the only downside I see is that it creates a lot of static electricity with most shirts that I wear, synthetic or not, when I take if off (I guess I should just wear it all of the time).
