Whether you’re scrambling up small, high-gradient freestones or doing the cast-step-mend steelhead dance in deep water, our Skeena River Waders strike an ideal balance between lightweight and tough. These highly versatile fly-fishing waders are built from varying weights of tough 4-layer polyester microfiber with our proprietary waterproof/breathable H2No® barrier and NanoSphere® DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Single Seam Construction (SSC) increases durability and freedom of movement. The custom-fit left and right booties are made from 3mm neoprene with abrasion-resistant soles. Field repair kit included.

Patagonia developed the 4-layer fabric construction for our waders to increase breathability and abrasion resistance, move moisture away from the body, and decrease the weight.

Our exterior fabrics are densely woven 100% polyester microfibers for durability and puncture resistance. On one side we apply our H2No® waterproof coating for waterproof/breathable performance. On the other side we apply a Hydrophilic laminate that pulls moisture away from the body so it can be passed out through the exterior shell.

To protect the hydrophilic laminate we use a soft polyester tricot lining that increases abrasion resistance yet maintains a soft, supple drape. Finally, we apply a DWR (durable water repellent) treatment as the first line of defense in keeping these waders waterproof.

Men's Skeena River Waders - Reg is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaked/not durable owned only a year w/minor use I purchased these waders about a year ago, hardly used them over the winter, used them a few times in the summer out west. Went to use them this fall and they leaked like crazy at the seam at the butt area. Took them off and pants and socks were completely soaked from the butt down. Tried to fix with the UV sealant but did not work, still leaked. Long story short, they ruined a fishing trip up in northern Wisconsin I used vacation time and spent money on. And now on top of that, I don't have waders to use this fall for musky fishing or for the steelhead/salmon runs this fall. The submitted picture shows where I did the alcohol test to detect where they were leaking. You can clearly see it went through the seam confirming they leaked prematurely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof pocket saved my phone! I was a little disappointed that Patagonia sent me these waders as a replacement for the waders I returned for repair as I would have preferred the top of the line wader but beggars can't be choosers. So far over a year of guiding and they have held up really well. This is the first pair of waders I have owned that featured a waterproof pouch and wouldn't you know it i waded in too deep the very first day I had them....that little pouch is worth it's weight in gold! Thanks Patagonia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 5 day trip to the San Juan, Comfortable and Dry This is my second pair of waders and by far the best I've had. I got them the day before I left for New Mexico and brought them with in the box. On Day 1 I put them on and loved the dry ouch near the chest, the hand warmer pocket and the adjustable belt. The fit is good but for my body, 6'1" 195lbs, they bind very slightly when I'm bending down to mess with my boots or fish (otherwise 5 star). In the afternoon the sun came out and the upper section adjusted and moved down incredible easy to give more breathability. Overall, a great pair of waders and they have great construction and use top-notch materials.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality wader After some research and a call with a Patagonia rep I purchased the Skeena River waders. I'm a novice fly fisher but have been very happy with them. They've stood up to walks through the woods and sliding over rocks. Fit and ability to move around is great. One adjustment I'd make is to add quick disconnects on the shoulder straps. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a quality wader.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product great fit My second pair of Patagonia convertible waders. I am on the water 100 days a year and my old waders lasted 3 years. Began to get some pin-hole leaks in deep water with current. Sent them back to Patagonia for repair and they replaced them with a new pair of Skeenas (the replacement for my old model). No questons asked. My old pair were an x-large. Got the same size (XL)in the Skeena and they swallowed me. Exchanged them for a large-tall and the fit is perfect. For your reference I am 6'2", 200 pounds, with a 33" inseam. Size 11 shoe. Have only used the new waders twice but can assume they will live up to the Patagonia reputation. Patagonia customer service is the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I fish the Truckee 1-3 days a week and these waders are tuff as nails. Great for short hike in and out with comfort and style. The ease of adjustability with the shoulder straps makes pit stops easy. The booties are soft and feel like high quality slippers. The fit is perfect ( 5-10, 185 lbs, size large reg ) for me and have kept me warm and dry during the cold months. May be too much wader for summer time wading, but if you want comfort , style, and function combo'd with quality buy these. You'll love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just had to get another pair This is my second pair. The first ones lasted all most 19 years. And I did use them on back trips up to 30 miles round trip. They were the best. So lets see how long this pair last. 2/14
