Invented for those who can’t migrate south to escape winter, the Synchilla® Snap-T™ Pants are soft, warm and livable. They’re made from plush, 100% polyester fleece (80-85% recycled) that dries quickly, wicks moisture and is smooth against the skin. With an elasticized waistband, exterior drawstring and spandex binding at the cuffs, they perform equally well when worn alone or under shell pants. On-seam handwarmer pockets and a classic rear Snap-T pocket hold life’s little necessities. Inseam (size M) is 32".

bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable Bought these and they are awesome. Haven't put them to the test in the alpine as insulating layers but around town they are pretty sweet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A steelheader's fall staple... I've had these pants since the beginning of guide season on the Lower Deschutes River and they have become a staple piece of wading and camp wear in my dry bag. This fall has been the wettest I've experienced. Add to the wet weather the normal winds and you get some rough fishing and camping conditions. These pants pull-on quickly over base layers for added warmth around camp and fit easily under waders for quick, effective insulation while wading deep to access steelhead runs on a very big river. Oh yeah...they keep me warm when wet and dry out quickly after an unplanned swim.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not great These pants are very warm and comfortable. I have similar pants from Patagonia for my toddler. On those pants the elastic at the bottom of the leg is actually tight so like on a typical pair of jogging pants. I wish the adult version was like the toddler version in this respect. As it is, the elastic at the bottom of these pants is so wide that it serves no purpose whatsoever other than to provide some color contrast. However, it does nothing about cold air blowing up my leg or preventing me from walking on top of my pant leg all day. I suppose I will need to take them to a tailor to have some proper elastic installed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size down on these! The size recommended by other reviews was still running too big. You may have to size twice down. Super comfortable. IMO, would be better to have drawstrings on the inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything You'd Expect From Patagonia What can I say? These pants are incredible! Same material as the Synchilla snap-t pullover heavyweight version so they are very warm and comfortable. However, they do run somewhat big similar to the snap-t pullover. I'm 5'10" 200 lbs, and my pants size is 35/36 X 32 for most brands and the Medium fits me perfectly. One of the things I like most is that they're NOT baggy like other sweat pants and are slightly tapered through the legs. The waist band does stretch and can tighten with the string so don't be too concerned when buying about waist sizes, only length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Day Everyday I don't review products because there are so many more important things to do with my time. However, these pants are incredible and deserve some of my time. I bought these three weeks ago and have worn them everyday. I have only taken them off to go to work or to a fancy dinner. I have not washed them and they do not stink at all. My wife has the nose of a bloodhound and she doesn't think they stink either. I have used these for yoga and as a layer underneath the supercell pant to shovel the driveway, but mostly for hanging around the house. I am 5'10" and weigh 160 lbs and the medium fits perfect. Thank you for making awesome products responsibly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the last pair of "sweat pants" you will ever need I just got these for X-mas and have been living in them since I opened them. They are the most comfortable pair of "sweat pants" (if you can even call them that) that I have ever owned. These paints have a nice slim fit leg. In regards to sizing, size down. I traditionally wear a L in all other Patagonia apparel, but in I have a M and they fit perfectly (6'1 w/ 32" waist). These paints will be my goto pants when for all apres ski days as well as my go to paint when hanging at home in my apt on wither nights in NYC.
