Like a perfect pitch of climbing with just enough protection, our Adze Hybrid Jacket lets you move without hesitation. The front, back and top of the arms are protected against cold and wind with a Polartec® Windbloc® polyester/spandex stretch-woven fabric that’s lightly insulated with a comfortable, warm and wicking fleece grid backer. Meanwhile, low-bulk, unlined, stretchy double-weave soft-shell panels run up the sides, under the arms and down into the sleek, modified Variable Conditions Cuff, offering enhanced breathability and mobility. Zippers secure the two handwarmer pockets (placed above harness line) and the internal chest pocket. The no-bunch hem adjusts with a cord inside the handwarmer pockets. With a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
  • 3-layer Polartec® Windbloc® stretch-woven polyester soft-shell fabric stops wind and resists precip with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, while a fleece grid backer insulates and wicks moisture
  • Stretchy, breathable, double-weave soft-shell fabric on side panels, underarms and cuffs has a DWR finish
  • Soft-shell fabric on inner collar and wind flap is durable and abrasion-resistant
  • High, harness- and pack-compatible handwarmer pockets and one interior chest pocket have brushed tricot lining
  • Modified Variable Conditions Cuffs fit over gloves and allow sleeves to push up easily without constricting forearms
  • Flat-cinch, no-bunch hem adjusts by pulling cord in handwarmer pockets and releases with cord locks at side hem
  • Shell: 3-layer, 9-oz Polartec® Windbloc® 93% polyester/7% spandex stretch woven with fleece grid backer. Side panels, inset and cuffs: 5.5-oz 88% nylon/12% spandex stretch double weave. All with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • 487 g (17.2 oz)
  • Made in Nicaragua.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Polartec® Windbloc® fabrics block 100% of the wind and provides maximum protection from the elements. The soft hand, stretch, and DWR (durable water repellent) finish combine to make this the highest quality, most comfortable windproof fleece product on the market.

Polartec Windbloc fabrics incorporate a polyurethane barrier membrane that allows moisture vapor transmission while completely blocking wind and water, eliminating the need for an additional shell. This reduces the weight and number of layers needed to protect and insulate.

Polartec Windbloc is durable, quiet, and non-pilling, and has enhanced stretch and recovery, making it ideal for activities when movement is intermittent, and when cold and inclement weather demands high-performance outer protection.

Women's Adze Hybrid Jacket is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Fall Jacket This jacket is not super warm but it is a nice layer. It fits well and is great for fall. It gets me through Florida weathers and is a nice fall jacket for Indiana.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I bought this jacket for my daughter and she loves it. It fits perfectly and is warm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK but... This jacket did not have the wind breaking capacity that I was looking for. I needed something to block the wind on cold downhill rides in the morning on my bike, and this jacket just didn't do well. Sent it back. I'm sure it would be fine for more casual uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This jacket will is my "Iceland Jacket" I bought this jacket from my local Patagonia store earlier this year. I found it to be really comfortable with the stretch built in and I like that the sleeves were easy to cuff if needed. When I was packing for a two week travel adventure of Norway and Iceland Sept/Oct 2016 I was torn between taking this jacket or my nano puff jacket and ultimately picked this one when I saw how much intermittent rain I'd have hiking in Iceland. I am SO glad I did! I put this jacket through the ringer every single day with wind gusts so high I had to lean into the wind (I'm 5'11 and still had to lean way in) and it really blocked the wind! Then it was put to the test with battering rain and sleet on a glacier hike...still stood up to the test! I was not cold or uncomfortable, the weather there is crazy and changes all the time and this jacket made me as comfortable as possible and also the big hand pocket were weird at first but you'll grow to love them and they're warmth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as warm as I'd hoped While looking at the lined windstopper jackets on sale, I was told this one was warmer than another one I was looking at. It's comfortable, but will probably be just a fall and spring jacket. Also, it sticks out on the bottom sides, like weird little wings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm layer for chilly evenings I love his jacket. It is classy and I wear it everywhere. Also, when it's chilly out it acts as a great warm layer. Runs a little big, I am 5'5, 150 pounds and ordered a medium. Sleeves are a little too long and isn't quite as fitted as I was expecting. But no complaints! Just means I have more room for layers in the fall and winter

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great until it pills I got this jacket five months ago and loved it immediately. It fit and looked great, blocked the wind, and kept me warm. I commute to work by ferry in the Bay Area, so I was looking for something that would keep me warm while enjoying the view to and from the office everyday. At first, I loved this jacket and wore it absolutely everywhere... On the ferry, hiking, even on the Great Wall of China! I felt I had found my perfect jacket. Unfortunately, five months later, I'm disappointed. The stretchy panels on the side and sleeves of the jacket have started to pill, and it looks bad. The seam on my left shoulder where I carry my bag is starting to rub away to a grayish white color. For $150 and with the Patagonia brand name behind it, I was hoping to wear and love this jacket for years, but since it is already showing its wear and starting to look dingy, I'll probably retire it from daily commuter life soon and just wear it for hiking where it doesn't matter if it looks a bit shabby. I'm bummed, but thinking about trying the Patagonia Sidesend next. Hopefully without paneling to pill, that one will last longer while still giving me the same sporty look as the Adze.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile and solid. This jacket is awesome. It will keep you warm in cold weather and high winds, and it also does a good job of keeping you pretty dry if you get caught in the rain. Only regret is getting it in a medium rather than a small, I'm usually a medium in Patagonia but there's some room and it's a little long in the back of the jacket. Still fits nicely, though. Really solid.
