Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for trailrunning! This jacket is great for trail running. I just got it this week and have already enjoyed two sub 10 degree runs in it (with a light base layer on beneath). It's flexible, comfortable, wicks moisture away, and doesn't even feel like it's there (plus it packs down nicely) I'm 5'7, 125 lbs and typically get Xs at Patagonia, but was glad I went with a small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go-to layer I am notoriously bad at temperature regulation during the winter months. As a trail runner, I sweat no matter what on the uphills, then inevitably freeze on the way down. Usually, I spend half my time shedding, adding, shedding layers to minimize sweating and then stay warm. With temps in the teens, I wore this piece over a long-sleeve wool base layer and didn't have to change a single thing in all of 13 miles with 4k++ of vertical. It was perfect. I cannot sing it's praises enough. I have loved my Houdini Jackets for years but struggle with their plastic bag feel, at times. This, however, breathes amazingly well while still protecting from the wind, and the stretch allows for unhindered movement. This is absolutely a new favorite. You'll be doing yourself a favor if you add this to your layering lineup. I wear a small in almost all Patagonia tops, and the size small fits well and allows for light layering underneath (~130lbs, 5'6'' with not-petite shoulders).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Airshed Pullover Perfect extra layer to put on while trail running or hiking this Fall! I typically wear a medium in tops but find with Patagonia a small fits better. A medium was perfect in this as I am putting it on over another shirt. I could have still worn a small with a more exact/tighter fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a windy/rainy run! Bought this as a lightweight layer for Seattle windy. rainy runs and rides, and it is the perfect weight. Not too hot, but kept me dry without feeling like I was in a sauna!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact and Comfortable Great wind protection on cool morning runs, and spring mountain bike riding!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I needed something to keep me warm but that I could roll and pop in my bike shirt when the temps rose. This shirt is perfect! Fits nicely, not too snug, not too loose. Just enough to keep the chill off but not to overheat me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect spring/fall layer I impulsively bought this after reading the description promising a wind/rain layer that didn't box you in like a sauna. I live in the TN Mountains where the weather swings from winter to summer to spring and back again in the course of a few days. This shirt is perfect for those sunny days that still have strong winter winds or for trail runs when you aren't sure if the weather is going to turn. I've worn it a few times now and can attest that it helps block the wind and moisture, while still allowing your core to breathe.
