bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for long runs! I love long runs. And this bra design has made them better. Usually after a 10mile endeavor the friction has taken a toll and left the mark of bra burn on my skin at the bottom band and top front edge. The Patagonia bra has an extra non-slip feature on the bottom band and a comfortable cut at the top (36C, size Medium), and had been great over the past two months and many miles of trail! Thank you for solving this problem through your design!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product after a Long Search! I spent many months searching for the 'just right' sports bra that was supportive as well as ethically made. This was the best one I could find, and I am very very happy with it! I use it mostly for yoga/hot yoga, and I find it is flexible, supportive and breathable, all at once. I tried on a few sizes, since I was not sure just how much 'compression' I should be expecting with this style, but I settled on a large (I am a 36 D), and I am happy with this choice. It was worth the wait of special ordering it through the store, and I am hoping to purchase another one of the same product as well!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great for yoga Yoga is this bra's achilles' heel. I popped out the top of it during forward folds. Super comfortable, but definitely not useful for anything that involves bending over. For reference, I've got a petite frame with a 34" bust (~32DD standard bra size). Might work better for a lady with a smaller chest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for bustier ladies! I love this sports bra! I use it mostly for hot yoga, but also great for hiking and other medium impact activities. The compression fit and higher neckline keeps things in place during certain poses. I am definitely going to get another one! I am a 34/36 DD and I got a size L.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Skiing Tahoe I have to agree with other reviewers: This compression bra is the best sports bra for C cup I've ever owned. Comfortable, supportive and flattering. I'm hooked. Worth the $. I purchased 2 more in other colors, and wore them skiing in South Lake Tahoe, working out daily at gym, and everyday relaxing under t-shirts. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, 36C and wear a size Medium. True to size. Most sports bras seem to be designed for B cup and smaller; I tried on "Cordelisse" and "Active Mesh" at stores and they didn't offer enough support for my body type/ C cup. Thank you Patagonia for your high quality products. I'm a fan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bra! I've been battling the bounce since 4th grade and the last Patagonia bra that worked for me was made in 1999-2000. My focus is on support and this bra does that well and as it's name suggests, it's a functional supportive bra so expect a uniboob. I'm about a 36C-D and the Large was way too big for me so I sized down to a Medium which fits well. I'd recommend sizing down. The only reason I docked a star is because the fabric boarders on "too stretchy" and it's on the verge of making the bra much less supportive due to it's flexibility. The bra Pata made back in 1999-2000 was a very similar design but the fabric was slightly less flexible giving it even better support for ladies with larger chests. Thanks for thinking of us again Patagonia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for yoga This is an excellent bra for large-breasted ladies. Right now I'm pregnant and wear a size 32F and this bra is on constant rotation in my circuit classes, yoga practice, and on ski tours. Not the bra for someone smaller than a C or D! Finally a Patagonia bra for athletes with a larger chest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect running bra! I ordered this bra on a whim since I have had poor luck with previously purchased Patagonia happy I did! I'm a 36C/D and a medium fits perfect. This bra doesn't chafe and has great support for any moderate-high impact activity. I have tried numerous brands over the years and this bra is at the top of my list.
