bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved it at first! I absolutely loved this shirt the day I bought it and wanted every color. However, after one wear, it had pilling in random spots. Very disappointing as the fit and style are perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flattering style & practical design This is a beautiful and versatile shirt. Flattering sleeves, neckline, length and purple color. I ordered in medium and seems a little large but I am long used to sizes running different in every design, with Patagonia and every other manufacturer. We're not all built the same, so what works for some doesn't work for others in different fabrics and styles. Love the odor control feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for travel, comfortable This shirt is great for traveling and it is extremely comfortable. It dresses up or down. It fits well but is slightly on the large size. It does shed initially but after several wears and washes it doesn't seem shed any more. I have not noticed actual pilling on the shirt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best I bought this shirt for traveling and trekking- however after the first time I wore it I noticed it was shedding and pilling. I washed it hoping that it just had some extra fiber to shed, but it just continued to pill and shed off bits of fibers onto my backpack, and shorts. The fabric is soft and the style is cute with the flutter sleeves, but I can not recomend it if you are going to be at all active in it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great shirt, with two drawbacks This is an almost perfect shirt, with two things that I found a little frustrating, but are't deal-breakers. The style and fit of this shirt are awesome. It's not too tight but doesn't look like you're wearing a flour sack. The sleeves are awesome. The green is pretty. I love it for running, but it's not so technical-looking that you can't wear it with a skirt. It's comfortable to be active in and is moisture-wicking and dries quickly, as advertised. My only two problems are that this shirt is one that's fast to get stinky. Which I guess is the trade-off for being synthetic. But oh boy can you smell me coming after a hot run. And the second is it's getting a little bit of pilling where my running pack rubs against it. Other than that, great shirt! Maybe a wool version someday to make me smell less like a gym bag? :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft and comfortable This T is very soft and comfortable. However, it does run big. I have been a Small in Patagonia for years, but in this I can comfortably wear the XS. Also, the fabric is a little delicate. I got a run the first time I wore it. The colors are brighter than I expected. Last , the sleeve is split, which I couldn't tell from the photos. It makes it a little different than your average T. A nice T if you find a color you like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favorite shirt... I LOVE this shirt. I own one in every color. It is light weight, moisture wicking, and great for any activity. The flutter sleeves add comfort and a feminine touch. I only gave it 4 stars because under the sleeves where my arms rub during a hike the material is pilling.
