There’s no free pass when it comes to riding in the Pacific Northwest. Your Champagne Powder can morph into a full-on ice storm within hours. So stay flexible, keep an open mind and ride with the Insulated Powder Bowl. It’s our most versatile insulated jacket, featuring body-mapped insulation placed in key areas to keep you warm without compromising mobility and weight. It’s built with a tough, 2-layer, polyester GORE-TEX® fabric for durably waterproof/breathable and windproof protection in all conditions. Treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, the shell sloughs snow and drizzle in wet storms. A strategically placed combination of compressible 100-g and 60-g Thermogreen® insulation provides lightweight, efficient warmth on single-digit days and remains warm even when wet. Inside, a 100% polyester lining increases durability, adds an easy glide and manages moisture when you work up a steam. The removable, 2-way-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood has a laminated visor for optimal visibility in ugly conditions. Finer points include a fully featured powder skirt; pit zips; watertight, coated Slim Zips; cord-lock adjustments at the hood and hem; and an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector. Pockets: two handwarmers; one chest with secure media pocket and cable routing; one forearm; two interior pockets (one drop-in, one zippered stash). With an articulated, feminine silhouette. Fabric is bluesign® approved.

Women's Insulated Powder Bowl Jacket is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not totally happy☹️ Great color, but gets really dirty. Sleeves are way too long so I am rolling them up. Seems more water resistant than waterproof and disputed the insulation is not as wind proof or warm as my 15 year old Powder Bowl jacket. Wish it had a double zipper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Elaboration of the fit I needed a new ski jacket, and I sprung for the Patagonia jacket in spite of the fit reviews. I would like to elaborate on the fit. I agree with the other posters that the fit is narrow in the hips. I am 5'7", 155-160 lbs, 34DD, 39 inch hips and 29-30 in waist. I fit at the edge of the M size, so I opted for the Large for layering purposes. Athletic build women were unhappy with the large chest area, but I have broad shoulders and a large chest, so I LOVE the chest on this jacket. The hips are narrow, but I unsnapped the powder skirt and the hips are snug enough that I'm not too worried about snow creeping up my jacket, but the jacket fits comfortably over my ski pants. I can still button the powder skirt but will feel mild pressure on my hips. I am pleased with the overall look of this jacket on me (I get to try out the jacket for performance this weekend) as most jackets, including my former beloved Spyder jacket, make me look like a box and still do not adequately cover my hips. Another plus with the appearance: I have worn the jacket already in cold weather around town as it does not scream *Ski Jacket*! Patagonia...adjust the hips and you will have created a near-perfect jacket. *A perfect jacket would include an inside snow-proof pocket for a cell-phone. At the end of the day, I am keeping the jacket in sumac-red as I am very confident that it will perform beautifully, as well as look nice for years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket for snow sports! I love all my Patagonia gear, and find it's worth the higher price point, given the consistent quality in everything they make. The powder bowl jacket is no exception. This jacket has good mobility overall, and is a little longer in length (covers your booty a bit), which helps keep snow out. Comfy and breathable on warmer days, and keeps the cold out in chilly temps. However, on super cold days, I've had to wear a vest or extra layers underneath to keep warm enough. Lots of pockets, both interior and exterior are convenient, and the zippers are water tight. Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed The overall quality of the product was an absolute disappointment. It has only been used about 4 times (the jacket was purchased at the beginning of the season) and already the Velcro on the wrist strap has torn right at the seam on both cuffs. The strap to tighten the wrist just kind of flaps around. The 2L Gore-Tex has not been as functional as I'd hoped. The sizing of the jacket was off as well. I am 5'4" and about 115 pounds and tend to look for a looser fit, but the sizing was off. I have a very straight figure and am not busty by any means, but when I tried on the medium, it was too tight in the hips, but massive in the chest. I ended up purchasing a large because of the hips. The proportions were odd on the jacket as it seemed to be designed for an individual with a small waist and hips, and large bust. The wrist opening is too small if you are to wear a mitten or glove with a gauntlet. Even with a large it takes some effort to pull the sleeve over a gauntlet on my mittens. I was able to give the jacket an additional star because it is warm (too warm for skinning, but good for groomer laps) and windproof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful ski jacket I was very hesitant to order this given the other reviews, but I did and Im very happy with it. The sleeves are a bit long, but will be fine with gloves. The waist is a bit narrow (I will only layer thin garments under it) but not unmanageably so. The quality is wonderful, and I can not wait to use it next ski season. Only drawback- the color. White will get dirty in a heartbeat. For reference Im 5'9, 130lbs

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too tight in hip area This jacket is light, and keeps you extremely warm. I am very happy about that. The problem is that it is extremely tight in the hip area. You can only wear a base layer, with the jacket at the same time, or else it's uncomfortable and tight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Sad! Was looking forward to wearing this next week to start my ski seanson but am going to return it. I am 5'8 and weight 132 pounds. Ordered it in medium but the fit is all wrong for my body. I have broad shoulders and narrow hips. It is too big across the chest and too tight around the hips. The arms hang about an inch below my fingers.
