Women's Long-Sleeved Overcast Shirt is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from lightweight fishing shirt Went to the fabric for the Overcast shirt a couple of years ago, as the fabric change for the women's tropical flats shirts became too hot, wrinkly, and stained badly. So this fabric has been a life-saver for fishing in hot temps. This year's shirt seems to have changed from the past three years, and now wrinkles more, however, remains quick drying, cool, and comfortable for rowing, casting, and travel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool comfortable fabric, lots of wrinkles This is a much more comfortable sunshirt than the polyester ones, which I find to be way too hot. I was really excited when I saw the shiny gray fabric. It looked kind of dressed up, despite being a sun shirt, so I could wear it outdoors and even to work. After washing it though, it got wrinkles that are impossible to iron out. I don't mind a few wrinkles, but it doesn't look as nice anymore, and they advertise it as wrinkle-resistant (it's the opposite). Also, I have broad muscular shoulders, and the L was pretty snug. I agree that the sizing is smaller than usual. But, it is very comfortable in hot weather so I give it a high rating for that! It's the most comfortable sunshirt I own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New fabric is better I have already reviewed this and wanted to add that I LOVE the newer fabric. After spending consecutive days on a raft alternating between the old version and the newer (starting last season I believe) I find the new fabric to be much cooler and better breathing. Also, although slight, I do think the newer ones fit a touch smaller than the older version. Love them either way but would love some better colors next season!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great shirt, but sizing off Wow- read some of these reviews and had the same experience. I thought it was just me. I have one of these shirts from a previous season and had no sizing issue. I still wear my other overcast shirt in size 4 and it fits great! I got one this year in the same size and it's too tight- specifically around the shoulders and on parts of my arms. Really great shirts though- keeps the sun off, dries quickly, like the colors, and you can wear them 24/7 in the outdoors and they somehow stay clean-looking for a long-time. But the sizing just isn't working- so size-up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed fabric and fit from previous season I own 3 of these shirts and they carry me through my guide season hiking in mountains and desert - I LOVE these shirts, or I used to. Ordered a new one this season and the shirt (size 10) now fits like a 6 after a wash cycle. Upon closer inspection the fabric has changed from previous years. What a bummer. My old season shirts I ordered a size up (from 8 to 10) because I like a baggier fit for my broad shoulders and carrying a large pack with hip belt. I ordered a 10 of this new fabric blend and even before washing it fit a little tighter than I would have liked. So disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wind and SPF shirt, quick drying!! I am just back from a multi-day rafting trip on the Owyhee River and I wore it every day! Terrific sun and wind protection, quick dry was also much appreciated. I am 5'8", 140 lbs, slim hourglass shape and went with a size 10 to get the bust to fit. I also wear this shirt biking around town as my top layer with one of Patagonia's lightweight wool T-shirts underneath. I can't emphasize how well this shirt functions in wind. I drip it dry after washing, it dries very quickly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shrinkage! I had two of these shirts already and liked them a lot. I ordered a new one, and the type of fabric was different. I washed the shirt in cold water and line dried it, and it shrank about 2 sizes. At least. It is now smaller than my other Overcast shirts that were a size smaller to begin with. Great shirt, while it lasted!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shirt, wore it for almost every step of a 500 miles trek this summer and it kept me comfortable in a range of weather. I already have 3 and would spring for another but I have really disliked the last two seasons of colors. What happened to visually appealing varieties like the old teal plaid or the more recent Atoll plaid? I want a shirt that is both functional and visually appealing and I know it's not too hard to ask because the past couple years have presented some great one. For the record, I am 5'6", 135, typically a 6 in dresses and the 6 in this shirt is just right.
