Learn More Close
From crisp moonlit approaches through sublime sunset summits, on mixed routes and backcountry tours, the Nano-Air® Jacket is a breakthrough in active insulation for high-output, stop-and-go alpine missions in the cold. Its stretchy and highly breathable fabric package integrates the qualities of fleece, soft shell and puffy by combining our warm-when-wet FullRange® insulation with a plain-weave liner and a lightweight yet durable, weather-shedding 100% nylon ripstop shell with DWR (durable water repellent) finish—all of which means you can put it on and leave it on. The jacket’s incredibly soft, supple feel and full mechanical stretch allow for a close, femininely sculpted fit over baselayers and an uninhibited range of motion. At chilly belays or in frigid conditions, pull on a lightweight shell and the Nano-Air’s thermal properties skyrocket. The left-chest pocket and two above-harness handwarmer pockets all close with trim, low-bulk zippers. The center-front zipper has a storm flap and zipper garage, while stretch binding at the cuffs and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth.
  • Light yet durable 100% nylon ripstop shell and plain-weave liner offer generous mechanical stretch and exceptional breathability, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Revolutionary 60-g FullRange® insulation warms and stretches; combined with the shell and liner, this creates a jacket with excellent mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40-CFM)
  • Iconic Nano Puff® brick quilting in the side panels, articulated patterning and other quilting details improve shape and durability
  • Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Two handwarmer pockets and a left-chest pocket are zippered, welted and low-bulk to wear comfortably with a harness or pack
  • Stretch binding at the cuffs and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth
  • Shell: 1.3-oz 20-denier 100% nylon ripstop. Lining: 2-oz 50-denier 100% nylon plain weave. Both shell and lining with mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 60-g FullRange® 100% polyester stretch insulation
  • 292 g (10.3 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Water Resistant

DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Nano-Air Jacket is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 76.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonder jacket! This jacket is super comfy, light, and warm. I wore it mountain biking over a t-shirt in chilly conditions and it kept me warm while still being very breathable, keeping me from getting too sweaty. I have a smaller frame and the xs fit me perfectly, allowing great range of motion and enough room to wear a base layer underneath. Its a perfect midlayer or lighter top layer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, comfy coat but... I bought this in the Aqua Stone color, and even though it fit larger than I expected, I absolutely loved it. That is, until after walking around with a backpack for a couple of hours, I realized how badly it caused the fabric on the back to pill. It was brand new when this happened, so I am pretty disappointed. I'd recommend only using this for casual wear or with an outer shell if you're going to carry a backpack. I'll be returning this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't disappoint! I've been wearing this jacket for a month or two now and I really love it! Unfortunately its too cold out right now for a thinner jacket like this (and I didn't size up so I can't fit much in the way of layers underneath it) so I haven't gotten as much use out of it as I did when I first got it, but I'm looking forward to donning it again in a couple months more regularly as it warms up. I've worn this jacket alone, and with a fleece underneath and a shell over and its great both ways. It also compresses well so its good for traveling. Additionally, it is easy to move around in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits perfect under parka or shell. This is my "Go to" layering item when I go to work on the mountain. It is not bulky but warm even when wet(damp). I bought 2 of them, I liked it so much. Cold days in the single numbers, I stayed warm with this jacket as a layering item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stopped stealing hubby's and got my own I bought one of these jackets for my husband 2 years ago. I found that I would steal it and wear it around the house or hanging out with kids outside on a cold day. I couldn't wear it out in public because I looked a little ridiculous in his large coat. Loving how comfy his is, I finally got my own. I'm 5'6 155 lbs and I wear medium. I chose to go large (color black) so I could have the extra room to layer. I just love the comfy bulkiness of the jacket. Living in LA it will keep me nice and warm by itself, but walking around Mammoth every weekend I will want a my merino air crew under. The medium is fitted and just seemed to fit a little too well. Might be because I still have a bit of a belly after having kids! I also like the extra room to easily pull my hands into the sleeves and keep them warm while outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patagon-yeah! I love this jacket, I've had it for months now. I've used it to walk to work, under my scuba drysuit, and sitting in the house trying save money on the power bill. For all applications, it's been perfect! It's functional but I also love the way it fits, feels, and looks. Definitely a great jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best jacket ever everrrrrrr it's like wearing a blanket around your body. always wished that they would make pants out of this and they recently did! i'm super excited to try it out. i wear it jacket all the time! can't live without it. so light, warm, and repels water well. i got a small sz... i'm 5'3'' about 110. jacket fits loosely but i like it that way cuz i like to layer things under.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Got this looking for a warm layer to do cold weather aerobic activity, and this is fitting the bill. I still get a bit sweaty wearing this and a capilene base layer for a run at 15 degrees, but NO swamp factor, and it's warm without making me hot. Love that it's stretchy across the shoulders. No piling issues yet.
