Sun-warmed rock down low, icy runnels up high: sendin’ temps. Whatever your preferred medium, core warmth matters and our Nano-Air Vest® keeps pace throughout high-output, stop-and-go missions in variable conditions. Its stretchy and highly breathable fabric package integrates the qualities of fleece, soft shell and puffy. Our warm-when-wet FullRange® insulation is sandwiched between a plain-weave liner and a lightweight yet durable, weather-shedding 100% nylon ripstop shell with DWR (durable water repellent) finish—all of which means you can put it on and leave it on. The vest’s incredibly soft, supple feel and full mechanical stretch allow for a close, femininely sculpted fit over baselayers and an uninhibited range of motion. The left-chest pocket and two handwarmer pockets all close with trim, low-bulk zippers. The center-front zipper has a storm flap and zipper garage, while stretch binding at the armholes and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth.
  • Light yet durable 100% nylon ripstop shell and plain-weave liner offer generous mechanical stretch and exceptional breathability, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Revolutionary 60-g FullRange® insulation warms and stretches; combined with the shell and liner, this creates a vest with excellent mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40-CFM)
  • Iconic Nano Puff® brick quilting in the side panels improves shape and durability
  • Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Two handwarmer pockets and a left-chest pocket are zippered, welted and low-bulk to work comfortably with a harness or pack
  • Stretch binding at the armholes and a dual-adjustable drawcord hem seal in warmth
  • Shell: 1.3-oz 20-denier 100% nylon ripstop. Lining: 2-oz 50-denier 100% nylon plain weave. Both shell and lining with mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 60-g FullRange® 100% polyester stretch insulation
  • 192 g (6.8 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Nano-Air Vest is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Warm I bought this to stay warm skiing and it works exceptionally well. In 20F weather I wore it over a light baselayer, under my Piolet jacket and was super warm, even had to take it off midday from over-heating. The material seems durable enough under a shell but I would be concerned about tearing if I wore it climbing. The light blue color is nice, but the way the stitching is done it looks a little silly/poofy around the armpits zipped up as an outer layer, but that matters less than the great functionality to me. Bottom line: the warmth is exceptional, almost too much during heavy aerobic activities. Perfect for layering in colder temps without adding a lot of bulk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it in Black! Purchased the Nano Vest in November 2016. I had worn the fleece black vest for years for active wear and work. The Nano Air Vest looks more polished for work and does not collect lint like the fleece. It's breath-ability makes it a Winner!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from great features - wish it fit wish the sizing were better. The color was nice. It was too long and thin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great concept and fabric, but fit is too big Overall the idea of this vest is great, but I'm disappointed in the fit. I was able to try on the Nano Vest in a store, but the Nano-air wasn't available in a small to try the fit. But with the notation that the fit was slim, the Nano regular, I assumed it would fit even tighter in the small, particularly as it's all stretch. But unfortunately it runs really big, I can pinch out several inches in the waist and the length is just straight at the hem, and easily rides up. I was looking for the perfect vest for everyday use but it's really just too baggy and short for what I was hoping I could use it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, practical, beautiful I tried a Nano Air jacket a couple of years ago and didn't like the fit. I have maybe 8 quilted Nano vests, jackets and pullovers so I decided to give this another try. Super lightweight, comfortable and flattering. I ordered Large and seems big for a Slim. I'll keep and use for layering and if quality wears as well as the quilted Nano's I'll reorder in a Medium and hopefully Patagonia hasn't changed the design or fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Vest! Lightweight and warm! Easily Stained.. I am an avid backpacker and hiker. I love this vest for being lightweight, warm when you need it and cool when you don't. I wore it in cool to cold temperatures hiking along the coast in CA and again on a backpacking trip in AZ when dusk and dawn warranted a warmer layer. I was cozy and warm (not too warm!) in this vest and a shirt, or this vest and a long sleeve shirt. The pockets are great, and the stretchiness of the vest makes the vest fit very well and flattering too! I've worn it may times just around town too for this reason. Only complaints- it does not have a stuff sack. This makes it very hard for quick and easy stowage in my pack or for clipping it on to the outside of my pack. I wish it stuffed into its own pocket as many other Patagonia products do. Hopefully they will do this next time around. 2nd complaint-the color

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never taking it off. I originally bought this vest with no specific use but have found endless possibilities. It's an excellent extra layer on chillier summer mornings sailing and doesn't restrict my movement at all so I can wear it while racing. I have run up to 12 miles in it, have never experienced any chafing and it keeps me the perfect temperature. I put it on whenever I am chilly in the house or on mid spring hikes. Whenever I need just a little more warmth I throw on my nano air vest and it does the trick. It warms me up but never makes me too hot.
