Stars shine overhead and shadows of granite giants crawl across the valley below. Huddle closer. We kept the irresistible allure of “just a few more pitches” in mind when making our updated Nano Puff® Bivy Pullover; it’s light, windproof, warm and has the pared-down features that help shift the odds in your favor. The water-repellent, compressible 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco—now with 55% postconsumer recycled content, and still the most thermally efficient synthetic insulation available—has a superb warmth-to-weight ratio and maintains 98% of its warmth, even when wet. The interlocking fibers of the lightweight, 100% recycled polyester Pertex Quantum® Eco shell and liner fabrics block wind, shed moisture and enhance the DWR (durable water repellent) performance. When the going gets cold(er), the kangaroo-style handwarmer pocket and a close-fitting, under-helmet hood with elastic binding bumps up the comfort level. The zippered drop-in torso pocket doubles as a stuffsack with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop. With a deep venting center-front zipper, elastic bound cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem.

bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Water Resistant

DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Nano Puff® Bivy Pullover is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I live in this thing. I bought this pullover in September and it's safe to say I haven't really taken it off except to wash it. I ordered a large, I'm 5'10" and the sleeves are long enough and I can throw extra layers underneath and even wear it as my outer coat skiing sometimes. I just bought the Triolet shell and it goes well underneath that for colder days skiing. 10/10 would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and wonderful I love this pullover. It's really lightweight and a lot warmer than it looks/feels. It definitely runs a little big, but I like that because I can wear it as an outer layer when it's raining/snowing and still be pretty comfortable in temps down to 20 degrees or so (with a merino baselayer). It heats up really quickly when you're moving uphill, so the long neck zipper comes in handy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strange fit This pullover was ordered in a medium which is my usual size in the retool snap t and other tops by Patagonia. But it ended up being too large across the chest and shoulders, and too long, it looked like I was wearing a men's version. So I ordered a small which I will keep but it is too tight across the back to move around much beyond hiking , so no climbing in this. Beautiful color in the tubular blue and the purple, soft lightweight but warm material. I'm 5'7" and 125lbs with small chest but athletic build. For women with larger than B cup the small will probably be constricting across the front.
