The sun/shade line on pitch 13 is reason enough to bring along the Nano Puff® Jacket. As a sleek micro-belay parka on chilly rock routes or as an insulated jacket during wintertime squalls, it traps your heat and blocks the wind. Its 100% recycled polyester shell sheds moisture and glides effortlessly in your layering system, while the low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco—now with 55% postconsumer recycled content, and still the most thermally efficient synthetic insulation available—warms with remarkable efficiency, even when wet. The jacket has a sculpted fit, with narrow horizontal quilting on the shaped side panels, and the soft, wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage add chin comfort. Its internal zippered chest pocket doubles as a self-stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth.
  • Lightweight, 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell and liner fabrics have a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • The most thermally efficient synthetic insulation available now with 55% postconsumer recycled content, 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco is water-repellent, highly compressible and maintains 98% of warmth, even when wet
  • Brick quilting pattern with narrow horizontal quilt lines on side panels stabilizes insulation and uses durable thread for abrasion resistance
  • Center-front zipper has wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at chin for next-to-skin comfort
  • Two zippered handwarmer pockets have cleanly finished zipper garages; zippered internal chest pocket doubles as a stuffsack with a reinforced carabiner clip-in loop
  • Drawcord-adjustable drop-tail hem seals in warmth
  • Shell and lining: 1.4-oz 22-denier 100% recycled polyester with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Insulation: 60-g PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco 100% polyester (55% postconsumer recycled content). Fabric is certified as bluesign® approved

bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Nano Puff® Jacket is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A work of art I have been wearing Patagonia since the mid-1980s. Been married since 2000. Those two paths have never collided. My wife, a fashionista of the highest order, has always steered clear of any gear outdoor related....until this jacket. I have the same jacket in red with a hood. She stunned me when she told me "Now, that jacket, I would wear, if it didn't have the hood." She absolutely loves it and says its the most comfortable jacket she has ever worn. Loves that it provides some wind protection and warmth without being bulky. She also loves how incredibly compressed it can become in her bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GO TO Perfect weight, fill and comfort for every occasion. When my wife wore it to bed though had to say enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and warm Love this jacket. Used it in Denver last week when they had a surprise snow storm. It is easy to pack, doesn't take a lot of room and you forget you have anything on since it is so light and comfortable. My husband owns 3 in different colors and my daughter gave them as gifts for Christmas. Everyone loves them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Coat is not styled quite right I had a Nano Puff purchased a few years ago. I love the cut and style. It fit my 5' 3" frame perfectly all the way around. I sent it back to be repaired and it was recycled because I didn't see the box that I was supposed to check for them to send back. So I purchased the new style in black. The sleeves were tighter and the length of them reach my knuckles. My thumb was inside the sleeve. The body of the coat was very long as well. The brick style stitching is not as flattering as the diamond stitching on my previous Puff. The coat was light as was previous coat. That was the only thing similar. I sent it back . Wish when something is GOOD, the style would be kept.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing jacket! I bought it about a month ago and it is the best thing I own. Can't seem to go anywhere without. Super durable because I still own my other one so I know they're built to last!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted. The women's Nano Puff jacket is exactly what I wanted. I have an older, hooded version that still works, but definitely shows its age. Unlike the newer Nano Puff vest, the fit of the jacket is still true to size: comfortable fit, allows for some layering underneath, packs down small in a pack or carry-on, looks great on its own or under a shell. I have always ordered Women's L sizes in Patagonia and could be assured of a correct fit. I ordered two of the Nano Puff women's vests a few months ago and Patagonia has definitely changed the fit of that item (two inches smaller/tighter in the hips). After my experience with the vests, I chatted on-line with Patagonia's Customer Service prior to ordering; the very helpful employee kindly sent me the jacket's measurements so that I could confirm the fit. --Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Boating Jacket I bought this jacket for cooler Spring days/evenings on the boat. This jacket has not let me down!!! Perfect weight and easy to move in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from poor fit This is my second nano puff. The one I had from 2 years ago fit perfect and it was a large. The new one I have is a medium and is a very tight fit all over. I tried the large but they changed the design and it was huge on me. Wish I had my old perfect fit one back.
