Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Casual and comfortable Bought this in navy and it's a cute casual t-shirt. It looks like it could almost be see through but it's not. It was a little stiff at first but softened up after a few washes. It fits true to size, and is not too tight and is comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wanted to love it but serious quality issues I wanted to love these shirts because they fit beautifully, are tts, and come in such nice colors! I bought two of these shirts and wore them each once (to work, not for active wear). Washed both on delicate, with other gentle/delicate fabrics, and then dried them on a drying rack. Both shirts now have semi-large holes in them (penny sized holes!). Seriously disappointed. Returning them today for a refund. I have been purchasing Patagonia products for almost 10 years now, and this is the first time I have had quality issues...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great basic tee I love the fit and fabric of this tee. I have a long torso and small chest, so the long and fairly narrow cut works for me. I find it nicely fitted up top, and just enough extra space around the middle to not be clingy. The slub fabric is a nice upgrade from regular cotton tees. What I don't like is that of the four I purchased, two had to be returned due to quality issues. One had a hole and one seam was not sewn straight. For an expensive tee shirt like this, I'd really expect better quality control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice looking basic T shirt I have several of these--they are great looking and fit really well. Thanks for the new colors, Patagonia! The only caveat to this is that the sizing seems to be a little inconsistent. I ordered all of mine in a size small, but one of them seemed a little smaller than the others. This means it is a little tighter in the arms and shoulders than I would like--but not enough for me to send it back. Very nice garment, great for layering.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weird fit Had to return 2 shirts. Small was too long, too big in the shoulders, and V plunged way too low. Couldn't go down a size though because it was too tight in the chest. 5'2", 120 lbs, 34C . The small cotton reversible V-neck I bought at the same time fits amazingly well. Maybe would work for thin builds with long torsos? Nice colors and fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shirt! I love these shirts, and colors! It is a simple V-neck, but the material is very comfortable and durable. After putting it through the wash it maintained its shape and look. Great for wearing with jeans or anything casual. Great buy! Strongly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it I love this shirt. It's great for tropical weather, very light and comfortable. The fit is beautiful, just long enough to allow comfort of movement. It sizes large though: I had to buy size S and I normally wear M. I am 5'6, 132lb.
