About as minimalist as you can go without getting arrested, our Nine Trails Unlined Shorts deliver performance in a pared-down package. These liner-free running shorts use a 91% recycled polyester/9% spandex plain weave fabric that breathes, wicks and has 4-way stretch. A flat, flattering knit waistband with an externally tying drawcord adjusts the fit, and two front drop-in pockets and a right-back zippered pocket (with key loop) hold your valuables. The 4" inseam and 1" side scoops let you move freely, while reflective logos on front and back keep you visible. DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Fabric is bluesign® approved.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Women's Nine Trails Unlined Shorts is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shorts! I originally order a pair of these shorts from Title Nine, and they were lined. I went to Patagonia to purchase a couple more pairs and discovered they were made unlined as well! These are a great fit and weight; the unlined shorts have two front pockets and a back zipper pocket. I use these for summertime sports - walking, rowing, etc.
