Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Patagonia® Denim

Knowing how conventional cotton is grown and denim is made, we’re out to change the industry. Patagonia® Denim uses only 100% organic cotton grown without GMO seeds, synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. An innovative dyeing process enables us to reduce water, energy and chemical use dramatically and produce less carbon dioxide than conventional synthetic denim dyeing. Fair Trade Certified™ for sewing, Patagonia Denim is the way denim should be made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit! Jeans are not easy to buy online! But I love these! I can't say they would fit everyone perfect but they really fit me well! I love that they have a little give in them but are not super stretchy like so many jeans out now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Super comfortable, a little on the big side I love the color and feel of these jeans. They're incredibly comfortable and I love the dark wash. The downside is that they're not as tight around the calf and ankle as I prefer for a pair of skinny jeans. However, I'm still keeping them because they're comfortable and still a nice, high-quality pair of jeans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable everyday pants This is my second pair, love them. They last well, look good and are very comfortable. Even fell down the stairs in these; tore my knee to shreds but only a tiny hole in the pants- if that's not great quality I don't know what is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great product I'm 5'7" and 125 lbs and the jeans were an inch or two longer than what I was expecting. The cuff is also baggies than expected, but they are very comfy and durable. These are one of two pair of jeans that I consistently wear and I would choose these over the other pair 9/10. I would recommend these jeans to anyone wanting a practical, comfy, durable, and overall nice pair of jeans.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wanted these to work... Love the dark color, do not like the fit. I thought 28 would fit (i wear size 28 in other patagonia pants - the corduroys, straight jeans and the skinny corduroys) but it doesn't. I can button them, but it's pretty clear they are way too tight. I'll have to return...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strange cut, but mostly good I'm on my second pair of these jeans because I really like the way the legs fit. However, they are definitely cut and sized strangely. I'm 5'7", about 110 lbs, and I tried on the 0 and the 00. The 0 fit comfortably at the waist but was loose in the legs, so I ended up going with the 00, which is a little extra snug in the waist (especially after washing) but fits my legs. I would say these run large, but I see other reviews saying they run small, so it may just be more about the strange cut. Anyway, pretty good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favorite The wash, material, everything - is perfect! I'm 5'6",120lb and typically wear size 2 in AE jeans. I ordered a size 0 because that's the size that fit best for the corduroy, but am going to have to return and get a size 2. I can't wait to get the new ones!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit with 4" gap in the back If you have small hips and a larger waist, then these would probably work great. For me, they were a terrible fit. I'm 5'5" and 105 lbs. I normally wear a size 2 or 4. I tried on a size 6, since that is the smallest the store had. They are slim, so the 6 fit me, but had a massive 4" gap in the back of the waist. And I don't have a tiny waist, but my waist is smaller than my hips. These are cut more like men's jeans...straight up and down.
