Women's Straight Jeans - Long is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite jeans I have an very difficult time finding jeans that fit me. I am 6' tall and about 140 lbs. I ordered these in a size 28 long and the fit is great. They are actually about an inch longer than I would like them to be, but I don't mind turning them up. I read other reviews and many people commented on gapping in the back at the waist. They do not gap on me at all - they fit perfectly through the waist, hip, and thigh. I am thin and don't have muscular legs either. They have a good and very comfortable stretch, but also maintain their shape really well. I usually wear jeans multiple times between washes and these do not stretch out on subsequent wears. I don't dry my jeans. I've only washed a handful of times, but the deep blue color has not faded so far. The dark color on these tends more toward a blue purple than a blue black. I was thrilled to get these at half off and will likely buy another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fabric Purchased in the spring and have worked them hard. They hold up well, wash well, and have enough tech incorporated to be highly functional in an outdoor setting. As some others have found, they gap in the back for me but not terribly and is comfortably solved with a belt. The waist rides on my upper hips - just right, being high enough for no plummer’s butt and low enough to be comfortable during activity. I’m 5’11” ~140lbs, the 30 long is a good fit for activity (not tight). The dark color allows me to wear them in my professional setting and have great functionality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for curvier women I was a bit disappointed in this pair of jeans from Patagonia. I am 5'9", around 170 pounds--an average to athletic build. My waist is small and my hips are pretty wide. I have thick legs (more muscle than fat). I tried these pants on, and they were way too tight for me; they do not conform to a curvier figure. The pants fall down to my hips and sort of stay there no matter how many times I pull up my pants, and the legs don't have any wiggle room. In general, the fabric doesn't give much. I would not recommend these jeans to someone who often has trouble keeping her pants up due to having a small waist. If you have thick legs, the pants might not fit well, either. The jeans are made of quality materials, and I can tell that they are durable. Normally, I wear a size 8 (or 10 with really tight jeans)--these are a size 31 (equivalent to a 12) and they are very snug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inconsistent sizing It seems excessive but I have 2 pairs of regular length straight jeans and now 2 pairs of long straight jeans from Patagonia. My inseam is in between. So, at home, with flip flops the regular length works. At work with steel-toed work boots the long length is better. I have a 10 and 12 in the regular length. The 12 is baggy but comfy, a little too loose in the waist. I wear 12 long to work so thought I would buy a size 10 since the 12s are so loose. Well, the 10 arrived today and boy are they TIGHT! They are much smaller than the 10 regular length. Maybe it's just this pair but the difference between the lengths and sizes is almost outrageous. These will be going back. However, I do love these jeans. Made for a lady with straight waist and hips. They are extremely durable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the long length! I looked at these pants for a year before I decided to try them out. After seeing there were not any other tall pants for this season, I bought these to try. And I'm glad I did. They are a beautiful dark indigo! They have plenty of stretch, and hold their shape pretty well throughout the day. The BEST part is, they're long! Super long! I can cuff them! I hardly ever get pants this long and I'm ecstatic! I am 5'5" (105 lbs) with freakishly long legs; my inseam is 33.5." I bought the 24L. The waist is a bit roomy, but it doesn't sag. The rise is perfect! It sits right below my navel. There is enough room to make movement comfortable. The knees don't sag after a day of hiking or bouldering. But I do need to wear a belt, as the waist seems to stretch out during the day. Great quality denim! They have not shrunk at all. I am so happy I bought them! Side note: I soaked these pants in a sink with cold water and a cup of vinegar to set the dye, over night. They have not faded or transferred their color onto my other clothes or skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from waist too big These certainly are a special product, the denim is soft, light, and really deep blue. Unfortunately the waist was way too big on me. Otherwise they fit. I would have had to alter them by a couple of inches. I am 5'9, 155, 41 hip and tried the 30L. Also, the right leg felt tighter than the left above my knee. If the fit had been better I know these would have been my go to jeans for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jeans ever Jeans never fit me so well. Hard to find jeans that fit all over for athletic body. Favorite pair of pants ever. You can wear them everyday to do almost anything. Cotton is so soft and stretchy too!! Buying another pair!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, strange fit I've tried on a lot of 34" inseam jeans and these are pretty long... I'm 5'11 and they are a little too long on me. They also are larger than normal sizing. I'm normally a 30 in Patagonia jeans and had to size down to a 29. Although I appreciate the ego boost, they stretch out and get a little big. Other than that, jeans are great. Comfortable and a pair of pants that will hold up to all my shenanigans.
