Digital gift cards can be purchased on the gift card page and are sent via email within 24 hours of purchase. Each gift card recipient will receive a single email with the card number, PIN and gift message, if added.
Gift cards can be redeemed online at Patagonia and at Patagonia-owned retail stores. Patagonia no longer offers physical gift cards for purchase online.
Merchandise credits are issued for returns older than one year. They do not expire and can be applied to your order just like a gift card.
Gift cards are typically emailed within 24 hours. During peak times (like holidays and sale events), processing can take 1–2 days. Each gift card recipient will receive a single email with the card number, PIN and gift message, if added. You can also choose to email the gift card to yourself and forward the email to the recipient on a desired day.
Both numbers (card and PIN) are required to redeem a gift card. Be sure to check your junk/spam folders if you do not receive the gift card email.

To verify that your gift card has been applied, check the payment method under the order summary before clicking “Place Order” at checkout.

Nope! Patagonia gift cards and merchandise credits do not have expiration dates or inactivity fees. To ensure an easy shopping experience, hang on to all relevant gift card or merchandise credit information.
