Patagonia Ventura
This is where it all began. Great Pacific Iron Works was Patagonia’s very first store. We opened our doors in 1973 in the old Hobson meat packing plant a short drive to some of California’s best surf and within shouting distance of Patagonia founder/owner Yvon Chouinard’s Tin Shed blacksmith shop. It’s a beautifully remodeled building from the ‘20s that carries a robust assortment of quality Patagonia outdoor clothing and gear for the whole family. You’ll also find a steady schedule of community events, weekly yoga classes, close proximity to FCD surf shop, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.
In-Store Shopping or Curbside Pickup Now Available
Patagonia Ventura is now open for limited in-store shopping or curbside pickup—and we’re following all CDC recommended protocols to keep you safe. Here’s what you can expect.
Limited In-Store Shopping
We’re excited to welcome you back in the store, but a few things have changed for our collective safety.
- We are limiting the amount of people who can be in the store at once. - Employees and customers must remain 6 feet apart and adhere to floor markings while waiting in line. - We are cleaning the store more frequently, especially product displays, counters, registers, payment devices and fitting rooms. - Employees are washing their hands more often. - Hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes are available for employees and customers alike. - Garments are getting steamed regularly to maintain cleanliness. - No hugging or high fives. Smiles, peace signs and words of encouragement are most welcome.
Curbside Pickup
Curbside pickup allows you to shop online and then swing by the store to grab your order. Most orders are ready within two business hours.
