Odor Resistant

Polygiene® odor control permanently protects your garments from smelling like a middle school locker room. Sweat itself is odorless, but it creates the conditions that bacteria need to multiply, and some of those bacteria produce odors. Polygiene permanent odor control stops the growth of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics, so you can wear more and wash less.

Active only on the fabric surface, Polygiene permanent odor control does not interfere with perspiration or with the skin’s natural bacterial flora. Polygiene particles are more than 100 times larger than nanoparticles and therefore are too large to penetrate to the skin’s barrier. Polygiene-treated fabrics have received Medical Class 1 approval in Europe, the same class that includes bandages.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Runs very small, different fabric Bought five pairs on sale. I usually wear an XL. I gave them to my wife who wears a SMALL. thats how small these run. The fabric also felt scratchy and thin. Not the same undies they were. whats up patagonia?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste band unravels within a few months. Junk! I have been buying these for a few years because they fit me really well and I love the wide waste band. Unfortunately, they are really low quality. The waste band on every single pair I have bought (over a dozen) have unraveled!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what they used to be Like many others I've bought several pairs of these over time. The fabric and fit are not the same. The fabric is not as soft and supple nor does it have as much give. And they are more like bikinis than briefs. I loved the old ones because they moved with you and didn't bunch up. These are still OK, and breathe well, but they're not what they used to be.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dear Patagonia... I found the following information stamped in my favorite undies you made and I still have because they are PERFECT but I need more. Can you please redo this line: cut 7026; style 32401; Fall 2009? What you offer here I have problems with the stitching, material and the fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I agree with quite a few others who mentioned the stitching around the waist. I have a couple pair that I purchased in the last 12 months that have unraveled around the waist. Also, I found the sizing varies between the striped and non-striped, with the non-striped running a little smaller.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge Disappointment I've worn Patagonia briefs for so long the print has worn off all my old pairs and they've held up through countless washings (I always hang dry). But these new briefs have started unraveling just like the other reviewers have experienced. Please give an explanation Patagonia as to why your most popular briefs are now a very high priced item and very low quality. Someone needs to make some changes to these briefs - hipsters included - to bring back your uncompromising quality. Please!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from waistband unravels I have old ones that are still in great shape. in the last few years I bought 2 of these and the seam around the waist unravels... on both of them. I have to be so careful not to let it go further... If they fix that it would be perfect.... I'm waiting

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable When I first got this underwear I was in love. So comfortable and the fit was perfect. However, only after a few months of light use it started unraveling at the seams. I am very disappointed by this product especially at the price. I am glad I tested for durability before buying any more pairs. I expected more from a brand like Patagonia.
