Odd fit for Sweatpants
I'm regularly between a medium and large for pants so I tried both sizes. The large was way too big in the waist and the medium was a very snug fit for sweatpants. The large was too big to wear so I would've had to go with the medium but they were very snug. The material was nice, the inside was soft and outside seemed durable. My persona... Read Morel preference would be for the pockets to be deeper/roomier. It seems like having the waistline elastic stretchier would help the fit.
We're sorry these neither pair of these sweatpants fit you well, Logan! Thank you for returning items that didn't work. We're sharing this feedback with our designers, and we hope we can do better by you in the future!
They are called sweatpants, but they are anything but: they feel well tailored, not baggy, with a slightly heavy felted drape that ends in a standard open cuff at the foot rather than the horror of cinched elastic. Most comfortable pants I have ever worn. Was not expecting to like them so much!
One size larger
I have had 3 other Patagonia cotton blend sweat pants and they would stretch quite a lot, so I have been getting small size (small), even though I have a 33 inch wast, 165 lbs, 5'11". These hemp ones did not stretch the same, and so they are true to size. I will re-order a medium.
I was wrong, hemp can be just as comfy as cottton or fleece
I worried that hemp sweat pants would be stiff or scratchy. Most of my hemp purchases have been work pants. These sweat pants as just as comfy as any cotton or fleece sweat pants I've owned. They fit great, they look great, very happy. Looking forward to more hemp clothing options.
Awesome sweat pants!
These sweat pants are awesome! I purchased them as my last pair of a different brand had finally kicked the bucket and I couldn't be more happy with them. They are true to size in the waist but are a relaxed fit in the legs. They are comfortable and also quite warm. Light breeze in or around mid 40s temp and they were keeping me warm. I thin... Read Morek they are great for lounging at home or camp and are a nice splurge item. If you WFH I would highly recommend them as your new uniform as well.
I like to wear these almost every day in the winter here in Texas as they're not hot on cool days and comfy on cold days. They are a tad to long for me but I can get them hemmed up. I also love that they have a back pocket and a cargo pocket to go along my front pockets. I do with the front pockets were deeper.
These pants are hard to believe, with the comfort of a good fit sweat pant, the look very polished-not baggy yet not restricting at all, lovely material, much better than any upscale jogging-yoga-sweat material Ive come across. The tailoring and attention to detail are just superior and, remarkably, the cargo pocket works perfectly and the single b... Read Moreack pocket allows a bulky wallet to fit so naturally. Nice side pockets, waistband fairly wide, elastic but neither too loose nor too tight for my 160 lbs. I love the width of the legs-loose feeling but controlled and polished. The seat is trim and as I am quite lean I was surprised at no excess material yet again, neither too loose nor tight. I can do squats and anything else and these pants work for me.Cmon, what else is there to ask for! Just a lovely garment.
Brilliant Patagonia quality
The 'con' first - fake zipper? Really Patagonia? I would have preferred nothing there. And, would appreciate some velcro on back pocket. The 'pros' - Much warmer than I expected, and the material is soft, yet feels durable. Perfect for lounging and my nightly dog walk in the cold weather. The other hemp products from Patagonia s... Ordered these looking for sweatpants/loungepant that i could wear outside without looking too sloppy/unkempt. I think these fit the bill appearance wise, but the drape/feel of the material is not to my liking. i wanted a little more 'body' to the pant, something more towards the feel of a synchilla fabric perhaps? I also don't like t... Read Morehe side cargo pocket, as it turns out. btw i ended up with some uprisal and shearling pants...
Most comfortable sweatpants ever
I bought the hemp hoody sweatshirt earlier this year and just recently ordered these hemp sweatpants. I got both in the stone blue color and they match perfectly and make a great fall/winter loungewear set. Perfect for wearing around the house, camping, and even working from home. The sweatpants are so soft and comfortable. Easily the softest, wa... Read Morermest sweatpants I've ever owned. The matching hemp hoody has been my favorite sweatshirt of all time, so I knew I would love these sweatpants too. The waist fits true to size but they do run a bit long on me (I'm about 5'7") . They only come in a 32" inseam and I usually wear a 30". Would be nice if they offered them in different lengths. I might get them altered/hemmed to shorten the legs so the ends don't drag on the floor. But other than that they are great and if they ever go on sale one day I may pick up another pair in a different color.
I switched over to sweatpants from double-knee canvas work pants because I spend too long at work to be uncomfortable. I'm a huge fan of these sweats! Super soft inside with a great fit; nothing feels "weird". They are warm but breathable and layer well under coveralls. The slightly tapered cut and stretchy fabric makes it so you can... Read More tuck them into or over your boots as required. The inner drawstring is great if you want the waist a little tighter, but the pants stay up fine without it tied. My biggest gripe would be the pockets. They are a little small even for my smaller sized cellphone, and the cargo pocket could really do with a snap or button to keep things secure. The fabric has pilled a little and I'm also not big on the faux fly... But overall I'm very happy with my purchase!
