Alaska Needs You
More mining and drilling in America's Arctic will push us away from a livable Earth and further into climate chaos. Right now, you can help protect our climate, local communities and biodiversity by asking our government to stop extraction in three areas under threat in Alaska.
If we have any hope of a thriving planet—much less a business—it is going to take all of us doing what we can with the resources we have. This is what we can do.
Great fabric and pink color so cute. But there isnt room for female buttocks. There is extra baggy room in front though (where women dont need extra.) If they had designed it so that extra room was in rear, these would have been great. My other Patagonia pants are XL leggings or XXL for overalls; size 18 in Patagonia hemp work pants or cord pants a... Read Morere a little loose on me. XL in these funhoggers pants too tight though, tight across butt.
I love these pants. They are incredibly comfortable with the fabric being so soft. I buy a little bigger than I need because I like my pants to be roomy. I also love the way they look with interesting stitching and the natural color . I love these pants so much I’m ordering another pair!
I love how thick and soft the cotton on these pants feels. They have the same fit, especially in the waist, as my beloved baggie shorts. As a shorter person, they hit right at my ankle, so they arent cropped but fit perfect as a full-length pant. I will be adding these to my regular rotation of climbing and work pants!
After a trip to France, i really wanted some colorful (not tacky), casual wide-legged pants that I saw all women strolling around in pushing their strollers in the morning. These fit the bill AND fit my legs. Im 5 7 (mostly legs), so iykyk the struggle. Also, theyre cotton, which is nice in the southern US heat. It does puff up around my mom pooch ... Super comfy and soft and I love to wear them with a big t shirt OR a little crop top (we love diversity). I get sooo many compliments when I wear them out and I feel so comfy and stylish at the same time. I’ve ordered a second pair because I can’t stop reaching for them! They’re light enough I can wear them in the summer but I definitely know they’... Read Morell transition into fall with me in a handful of months as well. I could understand how the fit wouldn’t be for everyone but for me, these have very quickly become the best pants I’ve ever bought! 100% recommend
I had assumed that all 100% cotton items from patagonia would be constructed out of organic cotton or post consumer recycled cotton. Please tell me why if this is not the case?? This design is gathered in the front with so much excess fabric that is looks puffy standing/walking and like a giant pouch of air when sitting. not the cut most people wan... Read Moret. Unfortunately I washed and dried hoping they would shrink a bit (which did not happen sufficiently to fix design flaws) and before I read the tag and noticed the cotton was not organically grown! Very disappointing all around. Do not recommend
Hello Donna, thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of the disappointment you're experiencing with these pants. The new Funhogger styles are our way of celebrating our 50th anniversary by launching a natural alternative to our Baggies from the past, while supporting our commitment to Transformative Agriculture by making them from Cotton in Conversion.
We offer three different types of cotton at Patagonia: cotton in conversion, organic and ROC. Cotton in conversion is farmed using organic practices but it's not yet certified organic. Transitioning from conventional cotton to organic cotton takes time (three years) and money. We are supporting farmers during this transition by paying a premium for their cotton. Certified organic cotton is certified to a standard that employs nature-based solutions to build healthy soil and manage pests, diseases and weeds. ROC stands for Regenerative Organic Certified cotton. This type of cotton is farmed in ways that aim to rehabilitate soil and improve the lives of farmers, on top of being organic. ROC is considered our highest standard.
You can check on the type of cotton being used in a product by going to the product page and checking underneath the "Specs & Features" tab. We hope this provides some clarity. If you're still unhappy with the product, we welcome you [send it back](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) for a refund or merchandise credit. You're also welcome to return in store if that's easier for you.

I love the idea of these pants, but....
These look so cute and 'easy casual' in the pictures. I just got them so haven't washed yet, but the material is soft and comfortable. The cropped length is good (I'm 5'10"). I'm almost always a size 6 (28" waist/36"hips), and the S fits well and is relaxed, like in the pictures. I'd give them 5 sta... Read Morers, but they hit above my belly button at the natural waist, and it makes the pants look a little dorky (dating myself here, but they look like Erkle's pants, pulled up really high). To me, the high waist looks a little odd on this style of pant. I can wear a longer shirt to hide the high waistband or roll the waistband over a couple times. Rolling it over helps with the look and also removes a little of the sagging in the crotch. I bought 2 pairs, and will send one back - I like them, but don't love them. I really wish they were a mid rise pant, they'd be perfect.
