I really like how comfy this sweater is. The quilted pattern makes it seem like Im wrapped in a blanket. The jacket runs a bit tight and the shoulders are a bit weird. Looks like they are stuffed with shoulder pads. Other than that, I like the sweater. If it fit a bit loose, I would love this jacket.
Thanks for your review Angel! If you'd like to return it, you may take the Snap-T to your local [Patagonia-owned store](https://www.patagonia.com/store-locator/), go through our online return portal, or reach out to our Customer Service team. We'll be happy to help!
I am so disappointed in this pullover. The first one that I purchased for my husband got holes in it, Patagonia replaced with another. Which was fantastic! But now there is a hole on the sleeve in this one. I followed the washing instructions and my husband just wears it casually.
We really appreciate your feedback, and we're so sorry to hear that you've experienced such a lack of durability with this product, Christie. Your purchase is still covered by our [Ironclad Guarantee](https://help.patagonia.com/s/article/Ironclad-Guarantee) and we'll reach out to you privately to further assist you.
Nice Material but Not Durable
I usually love all of my Patagonia gear and I am consistently a size large. The cotton on this is super soft. However, Ive owned this for just over a year and despite being careful and how it is laundered, and not drying with high heat, it has shrunk significantly in length. Perhaps this is due to the cotton construction versus the polyester fleece... Read More I usually wear, but this garment is not a winner.
Hi Ryan, thank you for sharing this review. We're so sorry to hear that Snap-T Pullover has shrunk! It sounds like you were doing everything right. Please remember it is covered by our warranty, and if you like we'll be happy to help you [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) it.
too small, I wear xl in other of your tops, but this was tooo small
Hello Stanley, we are sorry for missing the sizing on the pullover. You are welcome to [return or exchange](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) it at your convenience. We can also provide the garment measurements if you are interested in a sizing comparison.
Do NOT put in the dryer
I loved this pullover! It is super soft and was perfect for work and casual. However, do NOT put in the dryer. It will shrink up into an useless piece of clothing. My adult medium turned into a childrens medium after one tumble in the dryer :(
We're very sorry to hear this, Al! For [product care](https://www.patagonia.com/repairs/#product-care) of the Cotton Snap-T Pullover, we recommend machine wash in warm water with a mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener. Then you can let air dry or tumble dry on low heat, again with no fabric softening dryer sheet. If this laundering caused the shrinking, please reach out to our Customer Service team for assistance.
Perfect combination of versatility and comfort
Definitely my new favorite sweater, the Cotton Quilt Snap-T is an amazingly versatile wardrobe staple that can be worn in 90% of occasions and be perfect! I can keep you warm in cooler conditions or just keep you covered when it's already warm and you want the coverage without overheating. Definitely worth the price!
Great warm sweater for business casual affairs.
I like the design and material of this sweater, but it runs a little baggy. I usually get XL as a 510 230lb man, but the L is still baggy in me. Im not a huge fan of the elastic waist since it rides up when you sit down. Overall I have enjoyed this style though
Not a good fit
a bit clunky overall. wish it had pockets.
Thanks for the review on our Cotton Quilt Snap-T. We're sorry this didn't end up working out. We do have a similar fleece with pockets if you're interested, it's called the [Men's Shearling Fleece Button Pullover](https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-shearling-fleece-button-pullover/26140.html?dwvar_26140_color=BSNG&cgid=mens-fleece).
Mainly for looks at this point
I bought mine late 2016 in a brighter blue and red color which isn't available anymore. Very pretty pullover that grabs some attention. In my opinion not the type of clothing you'd want to exercise in. Fabric is very soft and feels delicate. Warm but comfortable indoors, but you'd want to wear something over it outside if it's b... Mine has small tears on both elbows, so I wear it very infrequently in order to preserve it for the long haul because I like it so much. Overall looks very nice and fits great, but I wish it was a little more durable.
Hey Ben! Thanks for taking the time to write such a thorough review. The Organic Cotton Quilt Snap-T Pullover is considered to be part of our Sporswear line rather than activewear - though some choose to hike in it still. if you're looking for a good hiking fleece, you could consider trying out the [R1 Fleece Pullover](https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-r1-regulator-fleece-pullover/40110.html?dwvar_40110_color=CHRT&cgid=root).
Too nice for rough housing
I own numerous Patagonia items. Actually lots. I believe in the products and the philosophy of the company. This was an item I was excited to purchase. Very stylish in a casual way, soft and warm. I was concerned about it shrinking, so I am careful because it fits perfectly right now. It is one of the more stylish pieces I own so I am trying to pre... Love this shirt, But fabric doesn't wear as well as fleece
Bought this pullover almost exactly two years ago and I have worn it regularly since. The top gets high marks for being as comfortable as it is cute, but I feel compelled to review now and report that the quilted cotton fabric does not wear particularly well, especially if you are comparing this top to one of Patagonia's sweatshirts or fleece.... Read More My pullover has developed several runs in the fabric, particularly around the cuffs, where it looks like the outer fabric is disintegrating. It has also developed numerous pills and pulls, where long strands of the inner quilted batting are coming out. I still love this comfy shirt but it is starting to look pretty rough around the edges. If I were deciding between this pullover and one made of a different fabric, I'd probably go with the other fabric for the sake of garment longevity.
We're so sorry that happened! All of our gear is covered by our life time warranty. Please reach out to our customer service team so we can set you up with return.
Very warm and comfy
I bought a second one of these because I loved the first so much. Since that time however both have started to fall apart. Little holes popping up. I think the better sweater is much higher quality.
We are so sorry to hear about the holes in your new pullover. We appreciate the feedback and hope you can send this one back to us so we can get you a [return or exchange](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html).
Love it but has a problem
I love this Snap-T and it has kept me warm through 2 falls/springs now. Love the style and cozy feeling and it is very versatile. The only problem I have with it, is the seams are busting in quite a few different places; both shoulders, wrists and around the waist. So this makes me a bit worried about the longevity of the product since I have onl... Read Morey had it for 2 years now. Otherwise its a great pullover from the brand I love.
They are so comfortable and surprisingly warm without being bulky. It breathes amazingly well so you never feel sweaty as you do with some fleeces. Great style too....I get a lot of compliments. I normally wear extra large but these run big, especially around the waist. They are also very durable and look great after years of use (I own three).
Look Good and Feel Great
I bought this sweater for myself and I'm so glad I bought it. It is very comfortable and keeps warm but does not overheat you like other sweaters. It does run a little big but not in an annoying way. It also looks great; the style is a true Patagonia style. Definitely recommend!
Perfect casual shoulder season layer
Throw it on and you forget its on. Cozy and comfortable without being overly warm. Throw it on inside or on a walk or ride its the perfect non-adventure casual piece for spring, summer nights and fall. Reading other reviews I was worried about the sizing. Im medium in all Patagonia and the medium is perfect. I have the 2015 version, but as far as I... Read More can tell theyre the same fit as the new ones. Favorite Patagonia purchase
Bought the maroon color mens pullover about three years ago as a roomy sweater to wear around the house and on quick outings. Ive worn it so frequently over the past few years that its threadbare in some places but its too comfortable to get rid of- truly my favorite purchase from Patagonia over the years.
Nice feel, fits a little large
Love theft feel of the cotton. It feels a bit large but the length is way past my hips. Different than other Paragonia items recently purchased. Bothers me enough to return.
Hi John! We're sorry this ended up being too large. You are absolutely welcome to [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) it if you haven't already. We're also always happy to email you any item's measurements chart so you can feel more confident about your next purchase.
Love my quilted sweater
this sweater is awesome - the color is perfect (green with orange pipping) and so soft - even after wash. My only complaint is how long the collar feels. It's kind of this awkward length that goes past my entire neck and close to my jaw - which doesn't make a lot of sense.
I normally love Patagonia because the clothes always fit great. Unfortunately this is not one of those products. Good, but a little bulky
I really love these pullovers. This is the second one I bought. I like the feeling and the quality. The only problem for me is that I am above average height and have long arms--38 inch sleeve. I end up buying XXLs from Patagonia in order to get the appropriate sleeve length since Patagonia doesn't offer tall sizes. The body of the pullover th... Fit great. As a woman
Fit great. As a woman who ordered a men’s small, I really enjoyed the extra length in the torso and arms as these aspects are often short in women’s styles. Very cozy. Did shrink a little in the dryer, but gave it just a little bit of a fitted look instead of boxy relaxed. My new favorite.
It fits like you think a men’s small would. I ordered a small because I know sometimes their stuff runs large, but in my opinion what I got was a true small (I probably should have gotten a medium). That being said, it’s very warm, the cotton is amazingly soft, the snap collar is awesome for some temperature regulation. I just want to know why anyo... Read Morene ever would make a pullover without pockets for your hands?! I knew that it didn’t when I but it... but still. That’s probably the only reason I give it four stars, all jackets should have pockets - what am I supposed to do with my hands, stare at them? One other thing to note, you might want to size up if you have a long torso. I’m 5’6” and have a fairly short torso, and if I put my hands above my head there’s a fair amount of stomach going on. I ordered a small, otherwise it fit well.
Nice fabric but the fit was very boxy and wide for me. I usually buy slimmer fitting clothes and this is more of a relaxed fit

Don't buy shell
I purchased "shell" but it is actually grey color. On the website the photo looks like light beige or even whitish. But the actual one is grey honestly. I am highly requesting the photo team or so to replace the photos because it is totally different with actual one.

Comfortable, warm and very practical.
I’m 5’10” ,178 Lbs, athletic framed/build and the medium fits perfect (close to my body) while wearing a t-shirt or a polo shirt or thermal underwear underneath. Want to love it - durability issues
I'm on my second Quilt Snap-T Pullover and I've had durability problems with both products. I've owned many Patagonia products and to the company's great credit they stand behind everything they make. I exchanged my first sweater for my current one thinking that I was just having one-off problems. Unfortunately the durability ha... Read Mores been sub-par (for Patagonia standards) on both. I've noticed fraying in key areas like the cuffs and the waistband. There's a thinning of the material at the elbows and and I'm small holes will begin to appear as happened on the first sweater I owned. Additionally, over time some of the synthetic insulation will begin to "leak" and you'll be pulling at long yarns of insulation. Unlike a lot of Patagonia products I own I've been very careful to baby this sweater - it's always washed delicately and laid flat to dry. All that being said this is an incredibly comfortable sweater and looks fantastic. I love the fit, weight, feel, and colors. I have a closet full of Patagonia products and it's the first brand I'll typically recommend to anyone. I'd love to be able to recommend this piece as well but IMO it simply doesn't live up to the Patagonia standards I've come to expect.

Best Layer Ever!
This is the best layer ever!!! I own three of them (and currently planning to buy a fourth). Soft and breathable
Chest and arms fit much like the M’s better sweater. The exterior is so soft, and it isn’t too heavy. I like the snaps, and the contrast color chest pocket. Much more pliable than what I expected from a “quilted” sweater. Not sure why this in the sweatshirt/hoodie section, I feel like it belongs in the sweater section of the website.
