Great Style and Snug Fit
These run a tad small - I am normally and XS (5'1 and 95 lbs) and it definitely squeezes in the waist area. But I prefer to have snug swimsuits anyway. Patagonia always has high quality garments and I appreciate knowing if anything goes wrong, there is the Iron Clad Guarantee. I have 2 other bottoms from Patagonia, and 4 swimsuit tops. Love th... Flattering suit for surfing
I love this line of suits. Im an active and fit 46 year old and find suit shopping tough. I dont want it to be super revealing but am not ready for an old lady suit yet;). This suit gives me the perfect amount of coverage while staying put in the waves! And I LOVE the flower pattern. Well done Patagonia!
Flattering and stays in place!
Love these bottoms! The cut and coverage are very flattering, but they also dont move around when swimming and surfing. That said, they do run SMALL and were digging in. After reading the reviews I initially ordered a medium, but they were super tight so I exchanged them for a large. For reference, I typically wear a small in Patagonia clothes and ... Love the fit BUT....
I really do love these swimsuit bottoms. They stay in place and no need to pull on the cheeks all day. BUT I really wish the amount of glue that was used to place the sanitary sticker can be looked in to. I spent an hour of soaking and scrubbing to get the glue off the inside before I could even wear these.
Hey there, thank you for the review. We're sorry that it took so long to remove the residue from the hygienic strip, isopropyl alcohol will usually do the trick, however we don't expect you to be scrubbing for an exorbitant amount of time. For future, we'd consider this a quality control issue, so feel free to reach out to [Customer Service](https://help.patagonia.com/s/).
Good simple swimsuit
This is a nice minimalist suit. Not much to say, as I just kept these bottoms to go with the top which I absolutely love. I love the green/blue color combination. I just wish the bottoms were a bit higher rise, they tend to sit right where they squeeze the hip fat in an unflattering manner. They run small, I normally wear xs or small in Patagonia c... Runs super small
The quality is great but I did not find the measurements accurate and was a bit shocked that I'm barely able to fit into the XL, the largest option and I'm just an average athletic build that has strong glutes.
Thanks for the feedback, we're sorry to hear the sizing was off for you. We've passed this info on to the appropriate teams, feel free to make a [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) if you'd like.
Unflattering on the hips
I'm a size 4 in pants and thought the medium would be just right but the low rise is really unflattering and uncomfortable
Thanks for the feedback on this and we are sorry to hear that the fit wasn't right in these. Please feel free to [send](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) those back to us.
I like these but dont Love them
Im usually a size Medium in bottoms. I have an athletic and fit build. These bottoms were extremely tight and small. The Larges fit better but become baggy after swimming and start to look really unflattering after you get them wet. Also due to the inside liner that Patagonia has been using on their swimwear, the sticky residue is permanently left ... Read Moreon the suit which really sucks. I wore these to the beach and sand has now stuck to them and cant be removed. I like the idea of these bottoms but the sizing is weird and they need to work on the inside liner situation.
Hi Maranda, thanks so much for your review and we're sorry to hear the sizing for these is off. Please note that you are welcome to [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) them under warranty if you remain unsatisfied with its performance. You can remove the sticky residue by pouring rubbing alcohol onto the affected area until saturated. You can then rub the area using your fingers and the adhesive should come off.
Great design, but not for everyone
The bottoms are high quality and look very cute. The coverage in the back is minimal though - lots of cheek showing. I've worn them at the pool once, and didn't need to readjust them - as I've had to with so many other bikini bottoms - so well done Patagonia! I'm normally a size four but went with a medium.
The good: strapped detail on
The good: strapped detail on front is cute and flattering, the seat doesn’t shift around or ride up when moving around. And from certain angles they look spectacular. The bad: the sizing is.. weird. Definitely order a size or two bigger than you normally wear. It is not just that they run small, though. It’s as if in an effort to make a minimal co... Read Moreverage bottom that stays put in high surf, Patagonia cut the leg holes too snug to accommodate the 3D shape they are meant to cover. The result is the bikini bottom version of a bra that is the right band size but a cup size too small. The bottom line: Give them a shot because they are very cute. But be prepared for the possibility that you might need to exchange them for a different cut if they don’t work for your body shape.
Great bikini but runs very small
I like the bikini style and color. However, I had to return this twice. I originally bought a small then returned it for a medium. The medium was still tight so just returned it all together
We're sorry to hear these didn't work out! Please feel free to [contact](https://www.patagonia.com/customer-service.html) our Customer Service team if you have any questions regarding your return.
Soft, But Very Small Fit!
I should have really heeded the warning of the other reviews on here, commenting that these run small. I am 5'2", 130lbs, slender build and normally wear small-s/m on the top and size 2-4 pant on the bottom. I sized up to the medium thinking it would be big enough considering the size chart, but once I tried them on, I found they were TIG... Read MoreHT. Not the snug kind of tight, but the digging in to your hip bones, can't wear it for more than 10 minutes tight (and I really don't have too much of a booty going on. It was more hip/waist tight). My exchange process was extremely easy (love you guys), and I was able to exchange for a large which fit more comfortably (though I have never worn a large in anything before). I love the quality and buttery soft material, I would just advise that you size up by one (or even two sizes) what you think it should be.
Lovely but sizing...?
I adore the feel, the color, the construction.... Perhaps I have no business reviewing based on sizing. In every other brand I wear an xs or s. The customer service people went above and beyond to help me with a whole slew of issues that were not their fault at all, just me needing my suit in a short amount of time and then needing to exchange for ... Read Morea larger size. So I assumed the small would absolutely fit bc I have never worn anything bigger. And, full disclosure, I got it, wore it, went camping etc but then realized belatedly that I really couldn’t say it fit me properly. Too late to return it and it cost too much to just buy another. My point here is that the sizing is quite different from anything I might reasonably expect. If you don’t order the right size the first time, it can take two more tries to get it right and there isn’t always time for all of the sending and receiving involved. I would have ordered multiple sizes at once and sent back the wrong fit, but I would have had to pay shipping if it wasn’t an exchange but a return. So. Mostly my own doing, but now I’m stuck with a suit bottom that I feel uncomfortable in.
Sorry to hear that the suit has been a disappointment. You're always welcome to [return](https://is.gd/DQq2nw) it to a Patagonia-owned store or send it in for a refund or merchandise credit under our [Ironclad Guarantee](http://tinyw.in/GeLT).
the most flattering (and comfy ) suit I ever wore. Normally I have to try on ten pairs to maybe find one that fits okay... but I put my faith in Patagonia and ordered these bottoms without knowing my size and as everything else they make, it's perfect! Great but wouldn't reverse them
I got the teal two-toned a while back to go with the nano-grip top. I love the color. The lighter teal on the reverse side is so cute but when wet you can see through it more to the dark teal lining and stitching from those 3 straps. I keep it on the dark side now instead. Good swim bottom
Runs small. I'm usually a S-M on top and M on bottom. I got M for both, the top is perfect and the bottom is quite tight. I'll keep it for active swim wear but am ordering a L for comfort when wearing it all day, my bikini line was irritated from the tight rubbing after a long day.
