We make the Arbor Duffel because it’s usually the thought of the weekend that gets you through the week. The classic weekender duffel bag, the Arbor has a padded base to protect your belongings, a clean silhouette and a utilitarian design that hauls your gear in style and comfort. The 100% recycled polyester fabric feels light and supple, resists moisture, and withstands abrasion and wear. A large, U-shaped zip-opening top provides fast access to the main compartment, and a side pocket, secured with another zipper, keeps odiferous items like climbing shoes separate from your other gear. The padded shoulder strap has an ergonomic shape for carrying comfort. Made from 8.4-oz 600-denier 100% recycled polyester with a 200-denier polyester lining. Both fabrics have a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
  • Recycled polyester fabric body offers a perfect balance of weight and durability for everyday use with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Large U-zip main compartment for easy access; zippered side pocket for small items
  • Padded, ergonomic shoulder strap
  • Padded base protects contents
  • Body: 8.4-oz 600-denier 100% recycled polyester. Lining: 200-denier 100% polyester. Both treated with a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • 737 g (26 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overnight bag I bought this as in impulse buy in a Patagonia store, and its been a perfectly great bag for the price, which was very modest. The material was a little lighter weight than I would have expected from a duffel bag, but after you have used it a while you appreciate how lightweight it is because it is easy to fold up and store when not using. I use a black hole bag for carrying my gear, and then this bag for my nicer clothes, with the separate pocket at the end perfect for putting wet items or toiletries. Overall, good value for money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from That strap I like the bag overall, with the exception of the shoulder strap, which is total rubbish. First, it's cut waaay too long. I mean, why would anyone want their duffel to dangle down by their kneecaps? I can fully shorten the strap to get it to set about right for my tastes, but then the plastic glides are digging into my shoulder. Not cool. Second, the "human curve" shoulder strap never sits right. This design works fine for their backpacks but has no place on a duffel. The problem here is partly due to shoulder pad's shape and partly due to the fact that the pad is integral to the shoulder strap and doesn't slide. Frankly, I don't understand why Patagonia didn't employ a "floating" pad like it did on its Headway model (and, I might add, like countless other manufacturers have done on countless other duffels). Overall, the Arbor 60L Duffel is a nice bag, but I'll have to replace the shoulder strap, which is annoying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bag! This bag is proving to be the perfect size to travel with and seems to be bottomless (although it's not). It's an easy size for me to carry, I'm 5'7" and not feel overwhelmed, even when it's weighted down with all my stuff. I have found this is the only bag I need to travel with besides a light pack. It doesn't feel cheap and I know I can put it through a lot and it will hold up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like this size bag Thanks for making this in the larger 60L, was looking at the 30 and held off due to the size. I have used on a 4 day trip, so far. Bag size was excellent. Was looking for this style of duffel, to use instead of my larger black hole duffel. Top access was very nice and side pocket held a lot of small items. Was concerned on the two interior pockets at first, but once the bag was packed they worked fine. Light weight and well made, as usual.
