Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I normally don't write reviews, but at the risk of Patagonia potentially not knowing how great this visor is... here I am. It's light, wicks sweat, fits PERFECTLY. I trail run everyday, and on the sunny days this is always on my head. I honestly try and find excuses to wear it. Get some more colors for this bad boy, Patagonia. The world needs more visors

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME visor!! Bought this visor several weeks ago and have now worn it on quite a few trail runs. I am a visor guy, wear one on 98% of my runs. When I first received this visor I had questions about whether it would keep the sweat out of my eyes...IT DOES, big time. Just did 10 hot as Hades miles this morning and it did it's job perfectly. I will be buying a few more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Duckbill Visor! I've used this for many hot weather runs to keep the sun out of my eyes, as well as absorb and wick away sweat. I've washed it several times, it comes out great, and drys quickly in front of a fan. Excellent product, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and functional visor for outdoor activity/athletics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trail running/running/golf I needed something to shield my eyes as i do a lot of activities throughout the day in the blazing sun here in Hawaii. The duckbill visor is something i wanted to try since at times a regular cap is a bit to hot. Perfect for golf as it is very light and keeps the sweat out of my eyes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome and simple. I am not a fan of hats, i tend to ovet heat. But sometimes i still need the shade on extremely bright/hot days. Also, I sweat a lot when i exercise. This versatile visor has replaced a myriad of other headbands, bondi bands, sweatbands, bandanas etc that i collected over the years. It fits under a bike helmet and provides way more sun protection than the standard helmet visor while also wicking sweat and keeping it off of my face and out of my eyes. Packs down nicely and can fit in a pocket easily. The bill retains its shape after packing. Drys quickly and easy care, no negatives i can think of really. Indispensable patagonia accessory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best visor for water sports and small noggins! I have tried many visors and they are usually too bulky for my head, and often warm and rigid. The Duckbill fits like a classic visor but is super lightweight, dries quickly, flexible and easily bends to fit into my board short pocket or waterproof bag. It's wide enough to provide sufficient sun coverage without being cumbersome. The adjustable back clip works great and quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for windy conditions This is a great visor because the bill is stiff but the head band is flexible, so a gust of wind only make the bill try to flip up instead of blowing off my head. I also like that the fastener is a clip so there is no velcro to catch on other clothing in the wash. The only down side is the high contrast colors are unattractive and look more urban than outdoorsy. I would prefer the mesh to be a color similar to the bill and head band fabric so it doesn't look so loud. Also I have a high forehead and would like the head band to be taller in width so that if I bump the bill, it doesn't change the position on my head so I end up getting a sunburn at my hairline right above the headband.
