Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Men's Baggies Pants - Reg is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great travel pants I just returned from a 5 week trip to Thailand and I brought 1 pair of pants; the baggies. They’re light, dry quickly, clean easily (was able to wash blood off in the sink), and always looked good. My one complaint is that the pockets are stitched in such a way that when I would sit down the contents would usually end up on the bus, boat or restaurant seat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every bit as fantastic as the shorts I have had these about 1 year (that pales in comparison to some baggies shorts I have had for nearly 10 years). I'm 5' 7", 155 lbs, wear 32/30 waist/inseam, size medium. The pants are as super as the shorts, just a bit longer. I hope the baggies pants line continues. As I live in San Diego, it never gets that cold. But in the winter early mornings I do wear these while exercising and they are simple and perfect. I have worn them on several trips here and there. They can be bathroom sink laundered and in my experience will dry from hanging over the hotel shower curtain rod in less than 24 hours. Baggies pants are as durable as they are functional, Great Dane paw swipe and drool resilient. No tears. No stains. All good. Buy you some if you need some.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable but Pockets Very Poorly Designed I've worn these pants on several occasions and most recently on a 5-day canoe trip in Algonquin. These are very comfortable pants and they dried fairly quickly from stepping in and out of the water. The biggest issue with these pants are its pockets. Anything you put into your pockets will fall out when you sit! The pockets are shallow and do not hold anything at all. If you get these pants be very careful and always check if you have anything in your pocket after you sit. Terrible design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pants in almost every way. I bought a pair of the baggies shorts years ago and I absolutely love them. I wear them almost every day during the summer. So when I saw these pants I wanted to give them a try. I have found myself living in them almost every day since I bought them. There are a couple design flaws in my opinion though. First is the pockets. They are pretty shallow. I have to constantly be mindful of what I put in my pockets because if I sit down there is a pretty good chance whatever it is will fall out. Second is the length. If you're a normal sized guy you shouldn't worry about it, but because I'm short (5'4"), they are a little baggy around my ankles (I usually wear a "short" size, not regular). Also, like what everyone else has said, they are slim fit. Especially in the waist and crotch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my pair I've got the mediums and they are slim fit and love them. I've worn them on a 6 day through hike, around town, surf checks, etc. Now that it is fall I am pumped I can break them out again. The only thing I'd like to see improved is a version in black.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shallow pockets I literally have every color of these pants. I wear them year round, day in and day out. They are perfect in every way except for one huge design flaw: the pockets. The pockets are shallow, similar to how pockets are on ladies' pants. Patagonia, please make a minor redesign and have the pocket depth on these pants mirror the excellent pockets on your baggies shorts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from where's the women's? I can't remember when I didn't own a pair of baggies shorts, they are the best, they hold up for years. So husband is loving the mens pants, he would prefer them to have a straight bottom hem, they are slightly long and bunching up at the bottoms. Why isn't there any baggies pants for women? I need them!!! Capris would also be awesome in the baggies fabric. neutral colors, like what the guys get?! NO we all do not wear leggings and tights thank you

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Patagonia should make Women's Baggies I tried these pants on in a Patagonia store because a store associate suggested for me to do so. I was reluctant to try them on because they do not state unisex. The store associate was a female, and stated that she has a pair of these pants; therefore, I went ahead and tried them on. These pants should have an opening on the bottom, similar to the Torrentshell pants. The store associate was able to make these pants work for her, because she was a larger size than me, and since the cut for these pants are for men, it did not look flattering on my smaller frame.
