The knitted, elasticized waistband and cuffs allow for mobility and comfort—the cuffs can be worn down or pushed up to calf for a cool modern look. There’s also two front drop-in pockets with tonal double-needle stitching detail; two rear patch pockets.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Happy Hike Studio Pants is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from large fit I wear a large in baggies shorts, ahnya pants, and usually anything else in patagonia, so i got these in a large and they were really big and gapping in the waist. I had to return, which is no fun paying back the shipping fees. The style and quality was nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing multipurpose pants so no need for jeans Alternated the grey and black ones daily on vacation. Great colors and so comfy Looks great with my Patagonia or denim shirts. Easy to pack and carefree maintenance. Wore it to nice restaurants with a dressier top or a t-shirt to the zoo. Pulled up the bottom (held up nicely) for a shorter look when hot or sunny. I am 5'2" and length is perfect. Sized down to XS from S (ok fit too but baggier) Normally wear size 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Good, I Bought 5! I feel like I have been searching for a good fitting, stylish, light weight hiking/travel pant for my entire life with little success. Before finding the Happy Hike Studio Pants all the hikers I found would have at least one fit issue. Ex: if they fit in the waist, they were huge in the seat, or, if they fit in the thighs, they need a belt to keep them up. These are just right! The waist band is uber comfortable, no butt crack show when you bend down and it works incredibly well with a full backpack on. Love the stretchy breathable fabric that is light, holds it's shape, and dries quickly. The cuffs at the ankle give them a stylish look too! I have traveled on flights in them, day hiked in them, backpacked in them, sat around at the beach in them and they are a dream of comfort and function!! Since I know when you find something this good, you better stock up before they disappear, I snagged 5 pair! I'm 5'6" and 125lbs. Ordered XS, and, judging how they are holding up to washing and wearing, I figure I'll be set for at least a decade of wanderings!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Gotta get the Gear" I bought these pants for the sun protection. It is hard to find comfy women's pants that fit, are fashionable, and are sun-protected. I usually have trouble finding great hiking pants because it seems like all of the pants are made for women with small hip-waist ratio. As someone with an hourglass figure, these were a great alternative. Other reviews talk about having a long crotch, I felt as though the crotch was slouchy, but these are not MC Hammer pants. I'm not sure I would do yoga in these pants, however I did wear them to the beach and they saved me. They're surprisingly water resistant. It was fun to pull them up over my calves to walk through the water and the parts that did get wet dried quickly

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy purchaser! Love these pants! You won't regret buying them. I'm 5"10, size 6, and the small is perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best backpacking pants I wore these on a weekend backpacking trip, and they were not only light and cool when the sun was out but still light and not too clingy when they got completely soaked by an afternoon thunderstorm. I've gotten hypothermic hiking in yoga pants in the rain (I think the cold, wet fabric so close to the skin did it). These got wet, but mostly still hung loose away from my body and then dried remarkably quickly once the rain passed. You can easily layer long underwear beneath them at night and they're very light to pack out if you wear shorts the next day. I recommend! As others have said, they run large. I'm 5'8 and 130 lbs, I could have sized down to XS but the S works. I sometimes fold the waistband over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite pants I wore these for a lodge weekend and they were perfect for the hike up and for lodging around inside. They dried quickly after a drizzle, weren't too heavy, and are super comfortable. I love the style, though they definitely run slightly large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HAPPY JOGGERS These pants fit great, material is sheer, breathable, comfy, and flexible. Definitely able to be more active with its quality fabric and cut. I like how I can use the ankle cuffs to scrunch them up around by mid-calves too. I'm 5'3 at 105lbs and a size XS fits great, not too tight around my hips, falls right under my belly button, and relaxed around the legs, while still exemplifying my form. The handful of reviews of women saying they're too large are missing the fact that they're joggers, they're meant to be loose relax-fit, sag crotch. If you want skin tight camel toe crotches, go get yoga leggings.
