Read More Close
Designed for fickle-weather cities like Seattle and Stockholm, this 3-in-1 parka has a 2-layer H2No® Performance Standard waterproof/breathable shell made of smooth, windproof polyester stretch twill lined with smooth, 100% recycled polyester. The interior zip-out jacket is insulated with warm Traceable Down (600-fill-power duck down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked). Wear the insulation and shell layers together for cold, wet days or separately for milder conditions. The parka has an adjustable snap-on hood, a zip-through stand-up collar that opens flat for cooling and a 2-way full-front zip with snapped storm flap that seals out wind. Front and back princess seams provide a contoured fit. Shell pockets: on-seam welted handwarmers with hidden snaps and an internal security pocket. Zip-out parka has flattering chevron quilting and on-seam handwarmer pockets. Above-the-knee length.

Weatherproof

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable.

Designed for a wide range of uses, from backpacking to snowboarding, 2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics utilize a taffeta or mesh lining rather than a bonded scrim to protect the waterproof/breathable barrier. The lining increases the garments wicking ability, durability and next-to-skin comfort.

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are coated with DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish that repels light rain and snow. In conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

All products bearing the H2No mark have been vigorously tested for durability in our Killer Wash.

Women's Tres 3-In-1 Parka is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost the perfect coat! This is an outstanding parka with the exception of a few minor things: the hard shell does not have an interior pocket without the down lining, and it only has exterior snap pockets so on warmer rainy days it's not the perfect jacket (weird design flaw! it's so warm with the lining I have been using just the hard shell coat and fearing for my phone); the down jacket has no hood, which is sort of a bummer because the outer coat has no hood insulation (does have space for a hat); and generally speaking I just wish women had shorter coats like the men's version. I ride my bike year-round in New England, and while this is not terribly long it still gets stuck on my seat when I dismount. What I would have really loved is a shorter interior down jacket with a hood, so I basically could have the Nano Puff hoodie for Fall/Spring/packable insulation for layering, and the heavy duty hard shell for when weather gets real. Ultimately it's super flattering, the lines are clean, and it's hella warm. I wore it in the pouring rain yesterday and stayed dry. I'm not mad I spent a good chunk of money on it, was worth it! Also very happy to support a company like Patagonia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best coat ever! I purchased this parka for work and casual wear. I live in Michigan and work on a college campus with long walks outside in the winter. It is perfect and seals out the elements like a dream! When it rains, I don't feel a drop and it is toasty warm in the winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST WINTER COAT EVER! This winter coat is what I've been dreaming of. I've had this coat since 2011 and it's gotten me through bitter cold winters in the Andes, in NYC, and in China. It's been the stylish shell to wear in rainy days and keeps me dry and warm in a variety of rainy/windy situations. The down coat on its own is flattering and stylish in dry, cold weather in the city or mountains. I absolutely love this coat. It's functional and extremely well made and also stylish and flattering to be dressed up and worn to work or out at night. Some have said it runs big and that's just not true. It's perfectly fit to size. It's warm and comfortable regardless if you have one or both layers on. This is THE essential all-weather jacket you need. Worth every penny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Regret my purchase I have bought this parka 2 years ago, and am so very disappointed with the quality that I have come to bitterly regret my purchase. The down pokes through and sticks to whatever clothing I am wearing, especially around the bottom area where there is more friction from walking or siting. I always have to have a lint roller on me, and even that doesn't always do the trick if I am wearing something textured. One of the zippers is already broken and needs to be replaced. I find that there is always an unpleasant smell when taking the coat off, especially if I was active. This is because the breathability is not that great. I did find the coat warm and the windbreaker does do a good job. However, I can't recommend this product. I am very sad that I spent such a sizeable amount of money for such poor quality, something I never expected from a brand like Patagonia. It should have lasted more than 2 winters for that amount!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for I haven't had a chance to wear this yet as summer in Germany isn't exactly conducive to wear of this jacket, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I went back and forth about buying a small vs medium. I ended up with the small and it's perfect. I'm 5'6 and 130 lbs. The color is a little more subdued than the picture looks. Its definitely an expensive jacket but I think it's well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i wish i could have kept it! It was too small so I've sent it back. Soooo impressed with the design, work quality and thought behind all. Wish I was smaller is my only disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait for winter!! I haven't been able to wear this because I bought it in April at 50% off, but I put it on in my apartment and it feels soooo warm. Now I am actually looking forward to winter! I walk to work so staying warm and dry in the Seattle winters (and let's be real - fall and spring too) is a must. This coat is perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Looking Functional Wear Walked around in chilly spring rain around 40F, it kept me warm and dry with just one thin layer of Tee beneath.
