Spicy Mussels

Inspired by Spanish escabeche, Spicy Mussels have tangy-sweet heat, and they’re an excellent source of vitamin B-12 and a good source of protein and iron. Our mussels are from the waters of Galicia, Spain; Sagres, Portugal, and Chiloe, Chile, where they’re grown on long underwater ropes—their clustered shells providing a protective shelter for young fish and other marine life. Mussels filter the water as they feed on wild microplankton, which could help improve water quality.
