After getting skunked on multiple lines due to corroded bolts or terrible bolt lines, they fell in love with Lalan’i Mpanjaka (8a+/5.13c), Malagasy for “the king line,” an 11-pitch, 1,968-foot beauty of sharp granite and impeccable movement.
