River Rafting, Sea Kayak or Paddling Guides

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Whitewater Raft & Kayak guides, and select Ocean/Flatwater Kayak & Canoe guides, working full-time during their regions operation season
  • Guide organization must offer multi-day wilderness trips
Required Documents:
  • Website link detailing your operation
  • A letter of endorsement from your organization stating that you area a full-time guide during the operational season OR a recent paystub that states full-time status (please make sure to blackout sensitive personal information)
  • Copy of liability insurance OR a letter of endorsement from an insured organization stating you guide full-time during the operational season.
  • Copy of your WFA or WFR or EMT-B/A/P or other applicable medical certifications
  • Proof of swiftwater rescue or ACA training

*Applications will not be approved outside the operational season.
