Andy is on a personal crusade to ensure that fish are around for future generations to enjoy. He helped to build the Cape Eleuthera Institute in the Bahamas, where he and a group of colleagues continue to pioneer research on the catch and release of bonefish, but he also researches species that include great barracuda, sharks, permit, giant trevally, sea-run brook trout, striped bass, Mahseer in India and Bhutan, and golden dorado in Argentina.

  • After teaching himself to fly fish, the first fish he caught was a bonefish on a shrimp pattern he tied himself
