When it comes to underwear, hanging out takes on a whole new meaning. That’s why we made these all-day boxer briefs. Their organic cotton/polyester/spandex fabric provides the comfort of a lounging weekend and the performance required to get things done. The fabric breathes to keep you cool and feels soft and light on bare skin. A brushed elastic waistband stays put without binding, chafing or bunching up under your pants. The contoured fit and tagless design let you transition from a morning meeting with the boss to an afternoon of bouldering. With a smooth, self-fabric, fully functioning fly. Fair Trade Certified™ for sewing.
  • Organic cotton is blended with spandex for stretch and polyester for moisture management and support
  • Brushed elastic Patagonia logo waistband is soft and comfortable against skin
  • Self-fabric, fully functioning fly

Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Underehelming I had high hopes. I'm a big fan of Patagonia. These ride up, constantly need to be readjusted throughout the day. I won't buy again, but will continue buying Patagonia because generations the stuff is awesome.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Length too short, hem too narrow... I was seeking a casual "everyday" boxer-brief in a natural fiber, but with the fit of a performance boxer-brief. Though general construction, materials, waistband, and materials are well designed and executed, the overall length is quite short, and the leg hem is super narrow, and not very tight. This results in the legs creeping up under most causal wear conditions, and the leg hem folds or rolls over. The comfort and fit benefits of what a boxer-brief should be are lost! I recommend a partial redesign where: a) the length is increased one to two inches, and b) the leg hem should be widened and more elastic. If my two criticisms happened to be addressed, I'd go full days-of-the-week undies on these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST UNDERWEAR EVER So far, this is the best pair of underwear I own. I have 2 pairs, but since they are so expensive I have to wait until they are on sale. They are so comfortable, hopefully they come out with a few new colors as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Material but Super Short Fit Great material in these - it feels fantastic against the skin. With that said, the inseam length is way too short. They stretch a bit during a run, and suddenly you're feeling "unsupported." I'm used to Patagonia's boxer briefs being longer than these from the prior pairs I've (still) got. If they had a longer inseam by a few inches, I'd be thrilled. As it is, these are akin to the tighty-whiteys my mom made me wear as a kid. No thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality My waist is 32-34 and medium fits perfectly. Fabric is awesome, definitely like that there is cotton. I don't think they run too high but yeah obviously it's a preference thing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not soft enough and not a body fitting material Not great. They stretch out by mid day, too short and they ride up and the material is just so so for comfort.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Shorter than expected :-/ Awesome quality and material but quite a bit shorter than I was hoping and expecting... I like my undies mid thigh... these are more like way upper thigh to bottom of the cheeks :-( overall size runs true just the length makes them not my favorite pair of undies :-(
