Anyone who’s bummed their way through a season or two knows the importance of being on a first-name basis with patrol, avoiding your buddy’s landlord and keeping your options open whenever new storms arrive. Our motion-friendly Snowshot, designed for superior comfort and mobility, lets you slip through the season’s highs and lows. For creative link-ups in the pillows and trees or dropping into fresh steeps, Snowshots have a fabric package that includes a burly H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer polyester shell with a waterproof/breathable barrier for storm protection. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish increases the fabric’s durability and keeps you dry when you’re flying through mucky weather. Lightweight, slick mesh lines the body and sleeves to wick away moisture and provide a smooth glide over layers. Articulated arms let you move naturally, and pit zips offer up a quick-venting option when you’re working up steam. Weather-sealing features include a 2-way-adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with a laminated visor; soft microfleece panels for your neck and chin to protect from wind blasts; and a low-profile powder skirt (with webbing loop that connects to any Patagonia® Snow pants) that provides an always-ready seal when you’re in the deep. Zippered pockets include two handwarmers, one chest (with media pocket and cable routing) and one internal stash pocket. There's also an internal drop-in pocket for goggles and gloves. With an updated technical silhouette and an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector.

Men's Snowshot Jacket is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits great. Lightweight, dry warm Only wore it once so far. The fit is comfortable. Warm with a down sweater underneath on a 27 degree day. Very mobile. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ski jacket, classic color I blew out my Patagonia down sweater hoodie zipper, just not a tough enough outer fabric if you're doing 75 ski days, and not super careful. (still very warm though) So Patagonia being world class gave me a gift card, bought the Grecian Blue Large, mens Showshot. I'm 5' 9" 195 and layer up as I ski at 11,000 in 15-32 degrees. Its a tough jacket, well thought out, fairly warm so you add a nano puff or two on snow days. The neck is great, no frozen nose, the hood is large, its long at the hem so your butt doesn't freeze on the lift. Yeah the zipper isn't super burly, not sure why Patagonia is messing with a critical element. Match it with Snowshot ski pants, you're done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket! Awesome piece of clothing. But the powder skirt is a bit loose and is non adjustable. It is an xl and the fit is perfect. Maybe adjustable buttons for the skirt?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shell jacket Only used it once, but is comfortable and pretty solid. Drawbacks are that it lacks a pass loop or pocket and the media device pocket is not insulated so the device gets cold which kills battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shell for PNW layering The snow shot jacket is perfect for PNW layering, plenty of room for multiple layers

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waterproof and windproof, strange fit around face I bought this garment a month ago and like its materials and waterproofing. The hood fits reasonably well over a helmet but when in the "hood off position" it is tight against the face and it does not come up very high to protect against the wind. I skied yesterday in blizzard conditions and the zipper iced up and wouldn't go up and down. Going to see if other models fit better and exchange.
