Like steel toes and duct tape, a great pair of jeans is something you can't live without. Made from heavyweight 100% organic cotton denim and cut with a regular rise to sit on the waist, our Straight Fit Jeans are built to break in well and stay with you for years. Lightly garment washed and dyed with an innovative process to minimize energy and water use, and carbon dioxide emissions compared to conventional dyeing processes, they have classic 5-pocket styling with a zip fly, an antique nickel shank button closure, double-needle belt loops and antique nickel piton rivets throughout. Designed for lean-to-medium builds, the slimmer, more tuned-in fit is neither too loose nor too tight through the seat and thigh, and has a straight-leg opening from knee to ankle. Two front pockets with printed twill pocket bags; small coin pocket on the right hip; two rear pockets. Lower portions of the rear pockets are reinforced for additional durability, and pocket edge seams are bound for a stronger and cleaner finish. Fair Trade Certified™ for sewing, we pay a premium for our jeans that workers can use to improve their communities and standard of living. Inseam is 34".

Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Patagonia® Denim

Knowing how conventional cotton is grown and denim is made, we’re out to change the industry. Patagonia® Denim uses only 100% organic cotton grown without GMO seeds, synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. An innovative dyeing process enables us to reduce water, energy and chemical use dramatically and produce less carbon dioxide than conventional synthetic denim dyeing. Fair Trade Certified™ for sewing, Patagonia Denim is the way denim should be made.

Men's Straight Fit Jeans - Long is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jeans! These pants fit incredibly! I'm 6'3" and about 155 lbs, so I bought the "straight fit" in 31x34. I love them so much I've purchased three more pairs since my first! They say Patagonia on the label so obviously they're sturdily built. I'm a machinist, so my jeans have a harder life than most, but these stand up wonderfully to the daily grind (literally!). I love knowing that if I rip these or wear them out at work, I send them to Patagonia's repair facility for an expert repair at nothing more than the cost of shipping. They look great too! I can wear them on the weekend or put on a fresh pair after work and head to a nice restaurant with friends and family and keep it classy. As a machinist, avid backpacker, and supporter of outdoor youth organizations, I care tremendously about the environment and the fair treatment and safety of production workers. It's great knowing that my money is going toward a fair-trade certified product made from responsibly sourced organic material. Patagonia for life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same as they were in the past Patagonia redesigned these jeans as of summer 2015, and I'm my opinion, ruined them. I'm 6'2 and slim. I've been wearing 32x34 slim fit Patagonia jeans for years. As of this summer, I cannot fit into this new model. The new design removed so much material from the thigh and crotch that they are uncomfortable even though the waist fits. I tried 34x34 but the waist is too large. I don't know what they were thinking! If someone 6'2 and 175lbs can't wear these, who can?
