Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Women's Active Mesh Bra is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Change is not always good The older version of this bra had smaller straps and was sturdier around the rib cage. The smaller straps were more comfortable - these wide straps sit uncomfortably at the neck. The band around the rib cage lacks the elasticity of the older version and feels loose. When wearing it for activities that require a lot of movement (e.g. - bootcamp) I do not feel secure. I feel like I'm going to kettle bell myself right out of there. It's fine for walking or riding the bike on flat surfaces but moving around, not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for petites I have a couple of these and am buying more. I am a skinny, petite girl with tiny boobs, and the snug fit of the XS is perfect for me. I do go running in them, and I also use them for climbing. Judging from the other reviews, I guess they only work well for skinny women with small breasts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wishing I had know to get more of the last version I've had this less than a year and it has already lost its shape. The previous style had more coverage and didn't ride up when I'm working out. This is more annoying to wear than comfortable. Please bring back this version...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yep, the old ones were so much better I'll join the chorus. Just got the new one and it's overly tight across the chest, but the band at the bottom is way loose. This is backwards from the way support is supposed to work. Searching for a replacement that fits - the old ones were so good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! I recently purchased two of these bras, because I needed something that would be comfortable while carrying a pack (non-bulky straps, no hardware anywhere). They worked really well for my 3-week field trip. I probably wouldn't wear them for running, but I think they will be good for yoga and other low-moderate impact activities. I am a 34C and size small is snug but comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Old models were better I should have listened to the other reviewers--this latest model is very loose and provides no support, in the same size I've been wearing for years. I liked the older versions of this bra for lighter activities (could never run in them), but this version is way too light with no support and is sort of loose around the band. Would be nice to see this design with more support again, especially for those of us with bigger chests.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from a daily staple I own this bra in several different colors and wear it all the time. its great for light activities and underneath scrubs but definitely not enough support to run in. Unfortunately, in less than a year the elastic is starting to become exposed and fraying on two of the bras. I have older versions of this bra that do not have this issue at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too loose to use for running Most of this bra fits well. Except I notice, when running, that the bottom band, the one that goes around my rib cage, is way too lose and actually rides up over my breasts. Which are not large. So clearly the band is too lose. I plan to send the bra back, b/c it's not really functional.
